We purchased this unit with a Whirlpool stove, microwave, and fridge in March of 2021. Come June of 2024 we are having to replace our dishwasher. We were very excited to get our new appliances back in 2021 replacing the original Kenmore units in our townhome. Like most homeowners we were so excited to get new appliances which we had planned/saved for. This is now a total downer having to replace something just over 3 years old.
When the dishwasher suddenly stopped working and we had it serviced it was found we had a very serious issue in both the motor and computer being completely fried. It was explained to us that it would be better to just buy something new over trying to do a repair.
It is very disappointing we are having to get a new dishwasher when we hoped our Whirlpool purchase "American made" brand would last us for many years. I will NEVER purchase another Whirlpool product. They offered 25% off if I purchased another product and I had to laugh- no thanks!
We are going for a Bosch this time. I am a brand loyal person driving my 4th or 5th Toyota and would have been loyal to Whirlpool if they had a good product but now I am moving on to try another brand and hoping for the best.
One thing I can say is that the install of the product did go smoothly and I was impressed by that subcontractor.

We bought this dishwasher in Nov 2021 after lots of research. Recently when our dishes started to not be cleaned very well. An appliance repair tech diagnosed the issue as the circulation pump--the core part of the dishwasher. We spent $450 to get it replaced and because we were "out of warranty," Whirlpool wouldn't cover it. If Whirlpool can't stand behind their products for more than a year, that really tells you something. Don't buy this unless you want to pay hundreds more to get it fixed.

My dishwasher was installed on 11/23/2021, 2 days later (Thanksgiving morning) my kitchen was flooded with water coming from underneath the dishwasher. We called the Total Tech repair number and they could not get anyone scheduled until a week later. On 11/30/2021 the technicians were scheduled between 8-12. At 12:00, we called and found out that the technician had an emergency and was not coming out for another week. No communication from them at all.
I am not sure if this is a Whirlpool issue or if it was installed incorrectly. I do know that we are going to have water damage to our cabinets and floors since we are still drying out and soaking up water daily.
I will definitely not recommend Best Buy for any appliance installation or repairs.

The dishwasher is fine, but installation is a nightmare. I am a professional handyman, and installation took me a whole day. Instructions are incomplete and misleading. First, you must have an appliance cord. A direct hook-up will not work. Second, the instructions for the plumbing are not worthless. Third none of the accessories are included: No water hook-up elbow. Not even wire nuts for the electrical.
Do not buy this model f you intend to install it yourself.

Best buy don't care!

The delivery and install was a nightmare. Don't use them! Damage caused on purpose. Had to install water shut off valve , they were very mad about that. Said was not on the work order. Install your self.
