If you have to unexpectedly replace your dishwasher, this is one that will make you feel good about doing it. Large capacity, everything fits nicely. The 3rd rack is Awesome! Love that all my kitchen utensils have a proper place to lay down. Great options for all my cleaning needs and dries really well.

Is great, has lots of space and programs clean well. If correctly loaded and right program is chosen, plastic containers and lids 98% dry, which was a must for me. Of course these programs run for longer hours compared to sensor or normal wash, but the result achieved is exactly what I was expecting.

Works great, but it takes about 6-8 washes to loosen everything up so it all slides out easily. Its just a little tight at first. Otherwise it cleans & dry's everything from pots & pans to expensive glasses. Its also pretty quiet, so we don't have to listen to it run all night long like our old one.

The ability to run quietly is wonderful. I really like the stainless steel internal parts opposed to plastic parts. It stays cleaner inside. I appreciate the flat front with no door handle projecting out blocking the drawer next to it from opening all the way which was an issue with my previous dishwasher.

Works good, clean dishes, very quiet and looks nice. I like the third rack. So far I haven't had any problems with it. I had a bosch before that gave me constant problems regardless of how high the reviews are for it. I would definitely recommend this one.

I love this dishwasher. It's very quiet has the third rack and the dishes come out sparkling clean. I looked at a lot of dishwashers and I'm so glad I chose this one.

This dishwasher is amazing! It's extremely quiet and will even clean my stainless steel pots with no special attention. It does take a while to run (about 3 hours) but is supposed to only use 4 gallons of water. The third rack is also a great plus!

Placement of the silverware basket on the lower tray is not as convenient as it could be higher. The cycle times for the dishwasher seems lengthy at 3 hours or higher. Other than that, dishwasher works well as is nicely crafted. Electronic controls on the door are easy to operate. Price point was very good on sale.

Overall this is a good dishwasher for the price, the wash is good and it's pretty quiet. The standard wash cycle is 3 hours, more if you do the extended drying cycle. The heating element is just below the bottom rack, so putting tupperware lids on the bottom rack will result in some deformation which causes them not to seal any longer. The rack tines are very widely spaced out, which works great for large items, but limits the amount of plates and lids that you might load closely together without touching. The middle rack height adjustment is nice. The top rack is good for flatware and larger utensils, but be sure to soak them if they have dried caked on food. For the price range I'd probably buy this again, however if I was able to afford it I would try for something with more features.

Incredible value, professional install by Best Buy

We purchased this dishwasher based upon the rating it received in The NY Times Wirecutter review section. There were more expensive and “upgrade” dishwashers listed in the $1000-$2000 range but the review specifically noted that this dishwasher outperformed the upgraded picks in actually washing and drying the dishes (which isn’t that the only point of a dishwasher) while falling a bit behind in its noise level. Now having it installed and running for about 3 weeks, I can confidently tell you that this washer performs fantastically at a very decent price. And as far as its loudness during wash cycle, it’s not anything I would consider noticeable. Also, props to Best Buy installation services who were FANTASTIC! They were on time, professional and more than competent to handle the task. We had a local appliance store do our last dishwasher install and they did not come close to how good Best Buy was. Purchase this dishwasher with confidence that it will perform to excellent standards and the install by BB will be well worth their competitive install prices compared to Home Depot, etc.

    Good Value and Nice Design

So far, so good. The top rack is very useful. Putting flatware on the top rack saves space on the bottom rack. The flatware/spatula holder on the bottom separates into 3 parts. Stainless steel internals look nice, and the external surface does a nice job of resisting finger prints and streaks. Yes, the wash cycle is long. Usually 2.5 hours. But this thing is so quiet. We can run at bedtime and never hear it. I've read the reviews from other people saying their dishes don't get clean. I don't know what they're doing wrong (cheap detergent, maybe?), but our dishes come out clean. We do typically rinse them before putting into the dishwasher, though. The built-in handle and lack of controls on the front make for a clean appearance. I cannot find anything, yet, to complain about.

This dishwasher is so quiet, I can barely tell when it's running. It is so sleek, no handle sticking out or buttons that get accidentally pressed. I love how the top rack can move up or down to accommodate larger items below. The entire cycle does take about 3 hours but it doesn't really matter to me.

So far, this has been a pretty good dishwasher that has great capacity, looks good and gets the dishes clean. It is also quiet as a mouse, so quiet that its hard for me to hear it running. My only complaints is that under the standard setting, it doesnt do a great job drying the dishes, but under the extra dry setting, it does a satisfactory job. The door also requites a little muscle to open and im not use to the very long cleaning cycles which i guess isvdone to economize of water usage. But overall, i am very happy with the appliance and think uts a decent value, if there is such a thing anymore.

Happy with it so far. The reviewers who have indicated that it is a little lacking in the drying department are correct. But it's not that big a deal to us. It cleans the dishes well, and it's very quiet.

So far, love this machine. Very quiet, cleans well, offers different loading options. Was surprised at length of cycles, so we use quick wash, which takes an hour.

Five Stars For This Whirlpool Dishwasher

This dishwasher has been a long time coming. Had a portable years ago, but didn’t want to go that route again. Had to hire a plumber, electrician, and then installer to take out a cabinet and set it up. I did much research on dishwashers, and chose this one based on the features and reviews. I love how quiet it is, the third rack comes in handy, and it does a great job cleaning. The pocket handle was important to me, as there is the basement door next to it that would have hit an extended handle. It’s also very attractive, love that it’s fingerprint resistant. The only negative that I’ve experienced is that a few of the upper rack bowls have water on top, even using extended dry. It may even be the way I loaded it, but not a big deal for me. I’m very happy with it so far!

So far so good, but long run time. Have only had a couple weeks and go figure, been eating out a lot since we got it. Have ran a few loads though and so far, we haven't noticed any major concerns. The run time as others have mentioned is kind of long for a "normal" cycle (about 3hrs) but we try to run it at night so it's not really an issue. The only other thing I noticed was that the middle shelf is pretty "wavy" so some smaller items seem to tip over easier but not really that big of an issue.
