Initial order fell off truck. Haven’t received my fridge yet.

Poor materials. Week glass shelves. Never recommended.

We chose this model since we have no need for an ice maker. Even though it's a couple of hundreds cheaper, it is not up to par to pay some $1,800!!! While the frig overall seems to function as expected, there are a couple of issues. Firstly the frig door would swing wide open each time, and I do mean SWING and hit anyone near by including the dog. It would be nice to have a way to prevent that. Even paid a handyman to make adjustments to no avail. It might be a matter of time that the door would fail due to the weight. The interior is as basic as it gets, that is, it is cheaply made. The exterior finish also looks cheap, may be the lowest grade of stainless steel if it is in fact steel. Any and all smudges don't come off easily. The storage drawers for produces don't slide readily. Not likely to buy this again.

Purchased this fridge on 3/12/2025. Delivered on 3/14/2025. 4/30/2025 it stopped working. I arrived home and everything in the freezer was thawed out and the fridge side was warm. A technician won't be able to come until almost a week later! It's noisy and runs continuously and does not get cool AT ALL!!! There seems to be no insulation, as everything went bad so quickly (which tells me that during a power outage the same thing would happen). Quality manufactured products are a thing of the past. These companies make crap products that don't last for anything and charge a arm and a leg for them (and then sell an extended warranty that's useless because it doesn't 'go into effect' until the one-year limited warranty is up). Hundreds in food wasted and a high energy bill for a fridge that stopped working in less than two months.

Hello, Since purchasing I've contacted Whirlpool for the following reasons... 1) Whirlpool 36-inch Wide Side-by-Side Refrigerator - 25 cu. ft. (Model: WRS315SNHM) runs loud. It runs significantly louder than as well as runs more often than my previously owned refrigerator of 11 years, which made a quiet hum. 2) The Whirlpool does not consistently maintain the appropriate temperatures for food storage, freezer at or below 0 degrees and fridge at or below 40 degrees, which I am uncomfortable with. 3) The Whirlpool periodically makes a loud whooshing/whistling sound that also does not seem normal. 4) Finally, after cleaning the Whirlpool following Whirlpool's instructions the Whirlpool developed rust stains, which ultimately brought me to tears due to exhaustion from dealing with that Whirlpool appliance... It's unsettling to have purchased an expensive new refrigerator that doesn't give you peace of mind. I am uncomfortable with the reliability of Whirlpool 36-inch Wide Side-by-Side Refrigerator - 25 cu. ft. (Model: WRS315SNHM). That Whirlpool appliance brought me to tears because I believe that my recently purchased Whirlpool refrigerator, valued at a $1399, is a LEMON. -Thank you for your time in reading this review.

Great Refrigerator. Very large. Love all the room.

Good unit. Lots of space. Good door space with drawers.

No problems, nothing broke and it still works as it should. The interior is bright and evenly lit, and a lit freezer is nice. Tons of space. It looks nice, especially with a fresh coat of oil on the stainless steel. Only one nitpick, sometimes the doors can be hard to open because the magnetic seal works well. Not a bad thing, it's doing its job. I find lubricating the seal can help the doors open much easier.

Great, works wonderfully stays cold and nice space in side.

It is a very equipped refrigerator with very comfortable spaces to store and easy to clean.

I love this fridge except the refrigerator side door is always coming loose. It happened right after we purchased and the screw that we have to tighten quickly becomes loose again. Whirlpool charges to have someone come and look at it. So not happy with that, it was an expensive purchase and should not have problems right after purchase!

Terrible product. Have never been able to store ice cream as the freezer was unable to consistently stay below 10 degrees. After many phone calls and 5 service calls. The compressor failed and was replaced under warranty. We were still unable to keep ice cream/popsicles in the freezer. Now less than 3 years after purchasing the compressor failed again. Since warranty has expired we now have useless refrigerator/freezer that never properly worked in the first place. More than 6 calls into Whirlpool has led us no where.

this is a replacement for first one delivered which had a defective door gasket on the freezer side and was loud and had a rattling vibrating noise. waited about 2 weeks for this replacement which is also loud and has an intermittent rattle sound . also a small dent on the top of the refridgerator door and another larger dent on the side and the rear lower panel is also bent/distorted around the air exit vent. Whirlpool has really gone down hill in the 16 years since we bought our previous refridgerator We will keep it despite the issues since it appears we picked badly when choosing this Whirlpool unit.

Great price and it does the job. I just wish there was more storage.

The freezer side is NOT keeping temperature. We bought Model:WRS315SNHM in August 2020, so of course, it is just beyond warranty. Over $1,100 for barely over a year is not acceptable. We bought it to replace a box freezer and to have some extra refrigerator space. Ice Cream is soft as are things raw frozen pastries or ice pops. This is going to cost us a lot of $ since we store prime meat in it. Initially, we thought maybe we were overloading it, so little by little, we have kept lightening the load, which is not why we purchased this product. The freezer performance continues to worsen no matter the load. We bought a physical thermometer to hang inside the freezer to monitor the temperature and right now it is sitting at 30 degrees. The refrigerator side works perfectly, Just FYI, my husband is an engineer and we have tried all basic troubleshooting steps.

MOTOR MAKES TOO MUCH NOISE. WHIRLPOOL DID NOT CARE ABOUT REFRIGERATOR NOISE? WHEN I AM NEAR THE REFRIGERATOR, I PLUG OFF THE REFRIGERATOR!

What a mistake. Believe the other reviews about noise. Awful. Inside, big box with wasteful use of storage space - lack of enough shelves for one and ability to optimize where inside and door shelves go. Stainless steel doors smudge easily. Compressor fan is a tiny - motor like a computer cooling fan - no way will last 20 years. Flimsy and poor design compared to the 20 year old side-by-side that it replaced. I should have had the old one fixed.

Food lasts longer and holds a lot of food. The lighting is awesome.
