Previously, I had a Samsung that died in a few short years. Very fortunately, I had the Geek Squad protection plan, so the repairs had been covered. After 4 repairs on the same item it was deemed a lemon and I received my money back/ store credit under the plan. I researched and chose this American made one that I am very happy with, so far. I bought the Geek Squad plan again, since there are so many electronics in appliances now, where one repair can be very costly.

It fits perfectly in the space of our older double door unit and the upgrade in interior space is just awesome. There are a lot of shelves that go on the door to hold your condiments, etc. There are 2 crisper drawers for veggies and a long drawer for our deli items which is very convenient. I think the only downside of this unit is that the ice maker cannot hold much ice and we can easily use all that is being stored. It is pretty minor and I am just thankful we have a working ice dispenser again.

Ok but not great quality

The freezer doesnt close with a slight push like others soft close. The handles seem cheap. The doors were uneven and not adjustable like others.
