    I bought this refrigerator at the end of 2017. I was thoughtful and thankful that i purchased the Geek Squad protection (3 year plan). Every year from the purchase date there has been issues. From ice maker not making ice (multiple years), the LED lights not illuminating inside the refrigerator when the doors are ajared (multiple years), to the defrost motor not working causing the refrigerator not to cool. Now the lights will not illuminate on the sides of my refrigerator and i do not have any Geek Squad protection left (wish i would have purchased the 5 year plan). I paid too much money for the refrigerator for it not to function properly. I called Whirlpool customer service for assistance and trouble shooting since they are LED and should not require replacing which they were unable to assist me without calling someone out to service it (which would be a charge). I will not purchase Whirlpool products again.

    Better off with a normal double door style.

    Within the first month the LED circuit board goes out and there's no lighting in the main area. The most simplest function decides to go out. The gasket for the french door is noot that durable. Less rhan 5 years afo and the seals are starting to crack and go bad. The door sealing slide bracket is sticking and the doors wont completely close with a bit of forethought of which door the bracket is on.

    Disappointed in Michigan

    Having problems with bottom freezer door since day one...many service call , tech visits, problem not solved as today , almost 1 year from purchase date... Customer service next to none, they sound uninterested in your problem.... Save time and money, stay away from this product or the brand for that matter. If possible I'll give 0 stars. Very disappointed that I'm stoked with a lemon product!

    Poor choice unless you replace less than every 4 y

    Loved it while it was working but now less than 4 years old and it’s dead!!! Called for Geek Squad 3 times for a repair appointment and the Rep disconnected me 3 times. The 4th time recording said sorry, we’re now closed. This all after we purchased 2 LGs that went out at end of warranty!! Buying at Best Buy way too expensive- are they selling seconds????
