We order this item and after having it canceled twice

Don’t know, still hasn’t been delivered. Been a month since I purchased the fridge. Even made a payment to my credit card since purchase. Maybe it’ll show up in a month or 2?

Its a really nice refrigerator, but it makes a noise. Its kind of a ticking - like a clock, but its not rhythmic. I had a Whirlpool person out that said they'd never heard anything like it before - it was like a little person was tapping on it from inside. After a couple months it was still making it (no faster/slower/louder/softer - just the same) so we were given a replacement. The new one came and seemed fine (to be honest I do not think the first one made the noise until it had chilled), we went to bed and by the time we got up the next morning (after it had chilled) the new one was making the same noise. So, perhaps its not a problem, but is sure is a concern. I don't want a part to fail, so hope it truly is just a quirk of this model.

I did like the storage in this refrigerator, but it has been problematic from the start. 1) The left door is a bit difficult to close without pushing hard on it. I have to check it every night before I go to bed...if I forget, I actually get back out of bed to go check on it. 2) I have the refrigerator temp set at the recommended temperature, but I can't use the back of the shelves or things will freeze. 3) More than once the ice maker has stopped working, but after playing around with it, it starts back up. I do have the normal problems with ice melting some and then sticking together in larger blocks. A salesman told me tonight that can be a common problem with ice dispensers that are located in the refrigerator section. 4) The refrigerator is less than 3 years old and the freezer light and 5 lights in the top of the refrigerator have gone out. I have the Best Buy Protection Plan... THANK GOD... it took close to a month to get the repairman to my house with the parts because they didn't get them on time from their distributor. When, he did get the parts and came to fix them, he was unable to splice some wires in the freezer part to put in the new light, without removing insulation. He didn't want to remove the insulation because that would probably cause me to have issues with the freezer. It has now been determined that my refrigerator can not be fixed and I will be getting an exchange. I am not sure how that process will work, but it does seem like Best Buy is standing behind their warranty. The problems with this refrigerator are certainly not their fault. If the exchange goes well, I will be continuing to purchase appliances from them and buying the extended warranties.

Makes quite a bit of noise, otherwise very satisfied. Loving the room.

I received my new refrigerator 2 weeks ago and was thrilled with the new design and space. My 16 year old side by side is a Whirlpool but I had to replace the ice maker 6 times. I decided to purchase new and went with Whirlpool again. Is this a mistake? The ice maker twice now has made a banging noise and I found it leaked all over. Under the ice bin, all over the door and into the first storage shelf. Do I call Best Buy? Do I call Whirlpool? Am I going to get the run around? Am I going to regret my new purchase?

Refrigator is beautiful and works perfectly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the handles are not attached very well and rattle every time we open the door. Best Buy has agreed to replace the item, so 5 stars to Best Buy.s

The refrigerator is spacious, inside arrangement is great for storing variety of foods. Family loves it.

Great frig, lots of room and all is performing as anticipated

Pros: Amazing layout - lots of room and customizable so you are able to make best use of the space. Has a child lock on the water dispenser. Freezer also has a great layout. Cons: A bit noisy - makes an odd dial tone noise when open and close the door. When getting ice sometimes water drips out initially as if seal isn't tight.

I had this fridge in my townhouse. I moved recently and have a Samsung that claims to be the same size but seems to be less roomy. Plus the ice maker in this fridge works where the Samsung ice maker keeps freezing up. Thinking of buying the Whirlpool again but hate to spend 2Gs to replace a brand new, albeit, inferior fridge.

This refrigerator has been an excellent addition to our new home. It has plenty of space and is very quiet. The shelving is easy to move around to accommodate different food storage arrangements.

Made in the USA, this unit works quite well and does everything it’s supposed to do. The water/ice dispenser works well but is a bit “stiff”, requires firm pressure to activate. The unit has very good shelf adjustments. Overall it’s a superior product.

Nice refrigerator, but could be quieter. Lots of room.

Both sales person and delivery people were very professional and curious. Most of all , I really love my new refrigerator !

The fridge was good while it lasted but the compressor died after we'd only owned it for 14 months. No one was available to service it so we're swapping it for a different fridge entirely now. While it did work, the PROs were that it is big, nicely organized, and has a very spacious and compartmentalized freezer. The CONs were that the water dispenser never worked properly for us. The water came out incredibly slowly and it wanted the expensive filter replaced very often. We had a Whirlpool tech come out as well as a plumber and no one could figure out why.

Whirlpool did a great job with this unit had it 2 weeks now double ice maker fast quit and led lights are awesome.

I am in love with this refrigerator! From the “fast ice” option to the LED lighting to the extra pocket in the freezer door. This product has exceeded my expectations.
