The ice maker had to be replaced. I'm hoping I don't have any further issues.

It is very similar to the old one I got rid of, but the water dispenser is much better - the water comes out in a nice, gentle stream and does not squirt all over the place.

From purchase to removal of old refrigerator to installation of a perfect product, we were kept informed. Local installer “Wonderboy” and his assistant were fantastic.

Within a week there was moisture on the top of the freezer drawer. Now there is heavy ice buildup in the freezer and the icemaker isnt working properly. One day it was full, the next was empty and only a few ice cubes come out every so often. I called BestBuy & was told that they are not allowed to service the item within its warranty period, so they referred me to Whirlpool. Now I have to wait 2 weeks before they send someone out. Im noticing others having similar problems. Now I cant make my smoothies without ice. It shouldnt take 2 weeks to get someone here.

First for about 20 min on a Monday evening then completely stopped on the weekend. And that’s awful timing bc Whirlpool only answers phone 8-6 weeknights. So I have had all my food in coolers all weekend ($200 in coolers and ice). Finally reached Whirlpool only to be told the earliest service date is FOUR days away. So if you can, get a backup fridge for garage bc this is an expensive problem with no speedy resolution.
