Made in the USA, this unit works quite well and does everything it’s supposed to do. The water/ice dispenser works well but is a bit “stiff”, requires firm pressure to activate. The unit has very good shelf adjustments. Overall it’s a superior product.

I received my new refrigerator 2 weeks ago and was thrilled with the new design and space. My 16 year old side by side is a Whirlpool but I had to replace the ice maker 6 times. I decided to purchase new and went with Whirlpool again. Is this a mistake? The ice maker twice now has made a banging noise and I found it leaked all over. Under the ice bin, all over the door and into the first storage shelf. Do I call Best Buy? Do I call Whirlpool? Am I going to get the run around? Am I going to regret my new purchase?

Refrigator is beautiful and works perfectly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the handles are not attached very well and rattle every time we open the door. Best Buy has agreed to replace the item, so 5 stars to Best Buy.s

Pros: Amazing layout - lots of room and customizable so you are able to make best use of the space. Has a child lock on the water dispenser. Freezer also has a great layout. Cons: A bit noisy - makes an odd dial tone noise when open and close the door. When getting ice sometimes water drips out initially as if seal isn't tight.

I had this fridge in my townhouse. I moved recently and have a Samsung that claims to be the same size but seems to be less roomy. Plus the ice maker in this fridge works where the Samsung ice maker keeps freezing up. Thinking of buying the Whirlpool again but hate to spend 2Gs to replace a brand new, albeit, inferior fridge.

This refrigerator has been an excellent addition to our new home. It has plenty of space and is very quiet. The shelving is easy to move around to accommodate different food storage arrangements.

Makes quite a bit of noise, otherwise very satisfied. Loving the room.

We purchased this Whirlpool refrigerator and are so sorry we ever bought this The ice and water dispenser are placed together and that is awful. Unless you use a glass with a very wide mouth, you will invariably spill water on your hand and also on the floor. The ice holder is small and does not refill quickly. And this refrigerator is noisy. Really noisy, to the point of being annoying. Low whines, weird buzzes, there are so many noises they actually put something in the owner’s manual to explain what the noises are. The fruit and vegetable holders are way too small. You can’t easily move shelves to get more height. The freezer will make your ice cream hard as a rock unless you set it at the warmest possible freezer temperature. It is poorly designed and they built it using cheap, shoddy materials. I could go on and on and how bad this Whirlpool is but you get the idea. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

Both sales person and delivery people were very professional and curious. Most of all , I really love my new refrigerator !

I am in love with this refrigerator! From the “fast ice” option to the LED lighting to the extra pocket in the freezer door. This product has exceeded my expectations.

Whirlpool did a great job with this unit had it 2 weeks now double ice maker fast quit and led lights are awesome.

The refrigerator is spacious, inside arrangement is great for storing variety of foods. Family loves it.

Refigerator is spacious. It is hard to take the middle crisper drawer out to completely cleaner. The freezer gasket went bad within 3 years. Get the warranty, it is worth.

NOISY!! I love the look of this refrigerator but hate the noise. It is not just the icemaker. It creaks, moans, pops, grinds, etc.! It sometimes sounds like an out of balance compressor. Other times it sounds like something drastically changing temperature. And yes, the ice maker is the loudest of any refrigerator I have owned. I also do not like the functional design. To open the lowest refrigerator drawer both doors must be open. To scan for contents both doors also have to be open. I much prefer a single door refrigerator. Even worse, my 2 year old fridge now needs $600 (installed) worth of LED lights and LED control board. Yep, after only 2 years. Look it up. This is an extremely common failure among several brands, not just Whirlpool. But...It is beautiful to look at.

I love this refrigerator. And the guys did a great job taking out my old fridge and installing this one. I definitely recommend Best Buy because their service is far better than lowes or home depot.
