This is an excellent refrigerator. Tons of space for both fridge and freezer. Great look. The water an ice feature both work excellent and has easy access to the water filter so you can change it.

I've owned this for 6 months. It's an upgrade to a 17 year old Whirlpool side-by-side. What I love: 1 - My food is fresher longer, my frozen food is colder, even my ice packs are colder resulting in my lunch box staying colder longer. I didn't even realize to what extent my older fridge was under-performing. 2 - The freezer is awesome, so much space, easy to see everything. I love the drawers in the freezer. No freezer burn. 3 - The filtered ice and water taste great. I like the Measured Fill option; I can walk away while my large water bottle fills up. The crushed ice is a combo of "snow" and crunchy pellets. No complaints on the ice maker, we always have ice. The Measured Fill isn't perfectly calibrated even after "calibrating" it, but it's still super convenient. 4 - I love the large door bins, and that I can adjust them. 5 - The unit has not given us any mechanical issues whatsoever. It is not noisy. It is easy to clean, in and out. The finish still looks great. Disappointments: For the reasons listed below, I initially regretted not choosing a french-drawer style instead of side-by-side. In fact I almost called Best Buy to exchange it. 1 - Produce drawers: Only one of the produce drawers has humidity control. Upon inspection, humidity control is simply a vent that opens and closes. Leafy veggies like the vent closed, so I store leafy veggies in the drawer without the vent, and I'm somewhat less concerned now. Also, the bottom drawer is about 35% smaller than the top drawer. I thought I was gaining double produce storage as compared to my old side-by-side, but not really. I still find myself needing more produce storage. Finally, this Whirlpool model does not include the Produce Keeper accessory. I researched and found them online and added them to my produce drawers. About $20 bucks. I also found other products on the market that accomplish the same task, so I'm now less concerned about the lack of this feature. 2 - No "butter dish", and there is a spot for it. I found the part online and ordered it, about $35 bucks. IMHO I should not have had to buy this separately. 3 - I HAVE MORE SPACE BUT I CAN'T ACCESS ALL OF IT. The shelves do not adjust (only one extra shelf bracket to play with), and the filter housings are in the way on the top shelf. If the shelves would adjust, this model would be so much better. Losing the ability to infinitely rearrange my shelves is a DOWNGRADE from my old fridge. This was the main deal breaker for me. The top shelf is the best place for tall items or stacking lots of food prep containers, but the water filter and air filter housings are in the way. The shelves are the exact same width as my old fridge; space is gained by making them deeper, not wider. This translates to moving things around to get to items in back. To remedy that, I purchased a variety of deep fridge bins. I probably spent close to $100 in fridge bins, including deep egg holders. To summarize my disappointments, I had high expectations of a luxurious amount of additional space on both sides, but I still find myself needing more space on the refrigerator side. I still have to clean out and rearrange on grocery day. I will say that I am less frustrated than I was 4 months ago, but I also invested a lot of money in accessories. It is also possible that the french door style would have left me with some of the same or other frustrations; I've never owned one to know. I am at least very happy with its performance and the filtered water and ice. I even cancelled my water delivery service! (Side note, I've found Best Buy to have the best price on the water and air filters when using their auto-delivery service.)

Refrigerator has been great. Set up was terrible. Besides being very rough - dropping and knocking into things- the full set up was nail biting and im on my third time to get it right. Doors were uneven since it wasnt really fully set up with me, and they wanted to replace the whole item (dumb!) I'm pretty sure Greek squad tech broke a part, so when asked to get that fixed they wanted to replace the whole frig (still dumb) and now I'm waiting for another appointment and realize it's the same original 3rd party vender coming back to adjust doors and fix that part!! - they didnt seem too savvy the first go around so I'm hoping it's different people this time. So, overall, like the frig, set up - hasnt been fun.

Works well. Like the ice maker/dispenser; easy to remove the bucket when we need a lot of ice and its position on the door leaves plenty of room in the freezer. One downside: the stainless steel handle scratched already -- maybe from my wife's ring...

Had a problem with the ice maker. Best Buy replaced it with a new refrigerator. Works great!

This is a great basic fridge. I love the extra room in the freezer, the smaller ice cubes, the eases of opening the ice bin and the keypad on the door. The smudge proof stainless finish is a must with four kids. However I miss being able to adjust the shelves in the fridge wherever I want and the closed compartment on the door where I used to keep my eggs. As others have commented the water is somewhat loud. This is replacing a 14 year old Kenmore Elite.

So far I'm well pleased with the refrigerator. It's attractive and works great and is a joy after dealing with my prior refrigerator, a brand with known defects that wouldn't keep the contents cold and the ice maker wouldn't work. Lots of room in both the refrigerator and freezer.

So far so good. Have had it for a few weeks now. Runs quiet and has lots of storage space. It does make some funny noises now and then but nothing crazy. It does not come with the compartment in the door to store dairy and eggs. But I have read that you can order it separately if you like.

Absolutely love this fridge. Two years in, and zero issues. It is a roomy fridge, great features for the money, and we really enjoy it. I wish this model would fit in my new house. Buy whirlpool, do not buy Samsung.

We love our new Whirlpool Side-by-Side refrigerator. I love the lighting inside the fridge and the drawers are so easy to slide in and out. We have so much room. We can even fit gallon pitchers and gallon milk jugs in the door to save room for food on the shelves. EXCELLENT product. My husband did the research and this was one of the most top rated refrigerators.

We ordered this and it got exactly in the space as we hoped it would! We thought the measurements would be tight (about .5 an inch) on both sides and thankfully the doors opening weren’t an issue. My mom says it’s very spacious and that she loves it. :)

Love the size. 28 cubic ft is an amazing amount of space. It replaces a 24 cubic ft unit but it fits in the same space. Ice unit not in the door is a great space saving feature. I wish that the refrigerator shelves where adjustable and the magnet closure takes a little getting use to. Overall very happy with the purchase.

I recently purchased a refrigerator from Best Buy and I have to say that I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The sleek design of the refrigerator is a great addition to my kitchen, and it’s incredibly spacious inside.

This is a great refrigerator. It does everything it states in the description. My only complaint is that the ice maker is very loud and drops two cubes at a time out of the dispenser.

Love the size of this, holds a lot of items. The color is amazing in my kitchen. Clean very easy. Love the ice marker in the door gives more room. Is a little nosier than my old one when making ice.

Fridge arrived in good condition with no scratches or dents. The installers did a good job and were careful bringing the fridge into the home, so they didn’t damage anything. We’ve had the fridge about a month. It looks great and has been working really well so far! There is lots of room for food.

We purchased this refrigerator about 4 years ago and after 2 years a technician had to come out to fix an issue with the ice maker due to wire fraying at bottom of freezer door. Soon after that, several of the plastic trays in the refrigerator had to be replaced due to cracks and breaks. Now, the ice maker is out again due to the wire fraying (service technician indicated this is a common problem with Whirlpool refrigerators). Also, one of the freezer bins is now broken. I called whirlpool to see if there’s a recall or some kind of replacement kit, but the customer service rep only offered a 20% discount. Replacing all of the cracked bins and repeatedly fixing frayed wire is expensive AND frustrating. DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR!!. Don’t repeat our mistake.

This refrigerator works great and keeps my food nice and cold. It does run a lot and the ice maker is loud because its built into the door. No big deal for me though. The only major complaint is the delivery contract that Best Buy has with Dolly. If you can, wait for Best Buy to deliver your items. The delivery people with Dolly were rude and disrespectful

The unit works well, although it takes time getting use to the ice maker noises. I thought the water from the dispenser would be cold, but its not. The lever to dispense ice is a bit hard to press, but manageable. I like the light features on the dispenser. I was surprised to find that the door panel color did not match the side panels. Our unit is exposed on one side, so you see the contrast between the black stainless steel and the sides are a different material. The installers removed the 36" front door to bring it inside. They didn't want to risk scraping the sides as the true width of the door is about 35" if the door is not removed. Be careful of your measurements and take into account to measure from the actual door to frame width and not the framed width only.

Our new whirlpool refrigerator from Best Buy looks a lot like our old refrigerator but it is much cheaper and so far so good. The ice maker is much better than our old one which was about 3x the price. It is mostly very quiet every now and then I hear it running
