Buyer beware of touchscreen control chaos

The touch screen that manages the oven temperature is highly sensitive and freezes often, requiring you to turn the electricity off at the breaker (basically, it's like restarting your computer every time the oven control freezes). The oven itself heats at about 25 degrees (F) too high and burns food when set to the proper temperature. The range top is great, but that is about the only component that works well. Unfortunately, these issues only became clear after the 15 day "warranty" period, and I'm stuck working through Whirlpool to try and get my brand new oven fixed. If you want an oven that's controlled by what feels like a 90s-era computer, this is your appliance.

New oven breaks

Both broke. The first one couldn’t be fixed. They sent me a Whirlpool this time with similar features as the GE. I had it serviced once and it worked for a little while, but it broke again just in time for the holidays. I’ll have waited about 3 weeks before they can repair the oven. Needless to say, I’m still waiting for the parts to arrive. Maybe I’ll get to bake my desserts and Turkey Dinner next week? It seems as though the big issue with getting this new oven fixed is getting the parts for it. There is no heat when you turn on the oven. My suggestion for anyone reading tjis review is to have your appliances checked before the holidays even if they are brand new as in my case. Imagine having 2 nee ovens in 1-1/2 years.
