Scratches easily

We received this and noticed a scratch on the burner thankfully was able to exchange it within best buy return window. New one came and 3 months later out of return window already have another scratch. Pans are the same we used in the old galss top and in between use we protect it with a silicone cover.

They also and took my old range for recycle. I just started the return process, and it may take over a week. Not a happy family and we did not expect to be without a range for so long over the holiday. After the install they should have tested the new range and if did not work left my old one. Disappointed with Whirlpool for the initial out of the box defect. More disappointed with the install by not testing leaving us without a range.
