Impossible to find charcoal filter

Nearly impossible to find the charcoal filters required but not included with the unit. They aren't sold by Best Buy or listed on whirlpools website at all. Customer service will direct you to another parts supplier where they are on back order.

This store location has the poorest customer service regularly as this is not the first time I’ve experienced this and they offered no discount or anything for it being damaged twice!

Great vent

Poor Warranty Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Range Hood last December 26, 2017, as of now I can't still use it because the blower is not working. I called the Whirlpool warranty service and they recommend one of their accredited service center, WFCC Impact Appliance Repair, The serviceman came last 01/03/2018, told me that they can replace the blower and he scheduled it on January 19. I waited for 3 weeks w/o using my NEW range hood. They called me last January 19 just to tell me that they don't have the blower and No idea when will it be available. Another guy called me, told me I need to order my blower from Whirlpool so they could installed it. I already took a day off this day just to make sure my range hood will fix this day. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!! Model#WVU37UC0FS0 Serial#XH713 18887

Bad design

There is no angle to the hood so it sticks straight out from cabinets making it very difficult to reach over stove cabinets. Also the edges are very sharp and hit (pun intended) right at head level. You lean into cook and hit the hood. An angled hood allows for both ease in reaching upper cabinets and less dangerous head room. Returned it and bought an angled hood with curved edges. It rattles alot and is noisy. One more thing - the fan and light buttons do not automatically pop up when you choose a different setting. You have to go back and press them again to make them pop up. Very inefficient. Often you will have all buttons pressed down and not know what setting to turn off, and have to repress every button.

HAD THE SECOND ONE INSTALLED AND WORKED FINE FOR A SHORT WHILE, AFTER TWO MONTHS THE LED LIGHTS WOULD NOT WORK. CALLED BEST BUY WAITED ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR AND A HALF THEN THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD HELP ME, BUT WHEN HE WENT TO GET A GEEK TECHNICIAN, NOTHING WAS AVAILABLE., FINALLY CALLED WHIRLPOOL AND WAITED AT LEAST ANOTHER HOUR. FINALLY AFTER ANOTHER HOUR SERVICE MAN IS COMING.

Whirlpool does not manufacture the required charcoal filters. I brought up my concerns regarding the previous reviews at the time of purchase with the store manager and I was assured I would have no issues finding the charcoal filters. I checked back in with the store representatives today and they didn't seem to care. I would return the unit if I had not already installed the backsplash. Do not buy this unit. I would also recommend purchasing appliances from a different manufacturer/retailer.

Venting about a Vent
