I think it is because I was just very used to having a super large freezer compartment and now have to get used to having less space. That says more about how big my last freezer was, and less about this particular fridge being sub-par.

Very much like the bottom freezer

Hope to remove the dividers in the top freezer basket if possible. Have received some suggestions on how but have not been able to pry up the back fastener. Will continue to try. Don't understand why it is not available without the ice maker.. Do not wish to pay to have it removed.

Great frig for the price

I have only had the refrigerator a little over a day but so far, I really like it. This frig is extremely roomy compared to the side by side that I had. It got cold very fast and makes ice quickly. So far I think this is a great refrigerator.
