This was a great purchuse at a great price. It sits well in the home and it is roomy. It was an amazing purchuse.

Based on price for the size and features, this is 5 stars. Excellent value, but I subtracted a star because of several minor annoyances. 1) The unit is noisy when it runs, at least compared to our last two units. Also, when the ice dispenser is filling a cup or when the unit reloads water, it can be obnoxiously loud. Not a show-stopper, but surprised us at the volume from a newer model. 2) The water dispenser does not provide cooled water. This might not seem like a big deal, but when your family is expecting cooled water, it can be a consistent minor annoyance. I have never seen a modern refrigerator not deliver cooled water. We're in Texas and it's July, so your needs may be different. 3) As others said, the sides are not stainless, but rather a closely matching gray color. Not a big deal for us. 4) The unit does pick up fingerprints pretty easily. Just be aware... MDTX

I really like this refrigerator. It is great for one person. I have plenty of room, have had it for 8 months with no issues at all. It does make some noise but that doesn't bother me at all. Today, I have to go replace my water filter for the first time (lasted longer than my previous refrigerator). Glad I made the decision to get this model as I looked for months trying to decide. I had never had a Whirlpool so I was anxious about changing brands - but I am now a Whirlpool fan.

This refrigerator works well, but unfortunately it does not have the same storage space of the previous model that I owned. The cubic space is the same, but the setup of storage in the unit is not as effectively used. Space in the freezer side is limited in contrast to the previous model (side compartments), access to get ice from the ice maker is more difficult, the ice cubes have been changed so they are now larger (which I do not care for) and one of the storage bins in the refrigerator size is smaller. The water dispenser also does not reflect the ounces disbursed like the previous model. As a whole the refrigerator works well. I just prefer the previous model as I feel it was a bit more user friendly

I've had this for a couple of months now and for the most part I'm pleased. The ice dispenser is a little weird and doesn't work well with taller water bottles but that's a minor complaint. I like the shape of the ice cubes. It's roomy enough and I like the 3 drawers on the refridgerator side. Overall pleased with the purchase so far.

Solid refrigerator overall. It looks great and the fingerprint-resistant finish actually works. Cooling has been consistent and it’s generally quiet. The side-by-side layout does limit some storage space, but it’s functional and well organized. Not perfect, but a good, reliable fridge that does what it’s supposed to do.

Lets start with the great stuff. Its quiet. Its roomy. its well lit - the LED lighting is fantastic. works great. love it. What I don't love - the shelves are NOT adjustable. the milk and the salad spinner fit on ONLY the top shelf. Is it enough for me to return it or give it a bad review? no. its not. its live-with-able. A special shout out to our install team - they went above and beyond to make sure we were installed properly.

After our GE fridge compressor crapped out after 3 years, decided to go with a different brand and came across Whirlpool. Along with a few recommendations from friends, this ended up being the winner. Plus factor, it was also on sale. The only downfall, which i did find was reported the same as well by others, was the drip that comes from after using the ice machine. some does land in the tray, other times it does leak off onto the floor. previously used to have a side by side, then went to bottom freezer. went right back to side by side. the space in the bottom freezer is nothing compared to a stand up version freezer. hope this one last longer than the last. did take out the extended warranty with geek squad.

Refrigerator performs well but the overall design could be better. Ice and water dispenser takes up too much room in the freezer section. This makes the freezer a little cramped. Water dispenser is good and all but it is easy to spill water on the floor if you (kids especially) are not careful. Not really a fan of the refrigerator door hinge. It allows the door to freely swing open almost all the way, >160 degrees. You have to use one hand to hold the door open while you take stuff out of the fridge else it goes flying towards the cabinet/wall. It doesn't stay still in one spot while it is open. Freezer door doesn't do this btw. Not sure why they can't make both doors to function the same way??

Overall the refrigerator was a decent purchase. I bought it after my old one went out. It matched my stove perfectly. There's plenty of storage space on both sides (fridge and freezer). It's easy to clean and change out the filter. Cons: When operating properly, the ice maker doesn't make that much ice...which leads me to, I've been having issues in the last year with it not working/making ice at all. Also, I wish the storage shelves in the door of the freezer were detachable and moveable, just so I can store taller items when needed (ie plastic bottles)

The first whirpool refrigerator we w received, the ice maker did not work and the doors dis not align. IT seemed to run constantly. The second one seems to be ok so far.

The Item is Average ads its doors were not able to align symmetrically. Functionally fine aesthetically lacking... You get what you pay for. Unit 3.5 stars. 5 stars for my sales & Install team

After returning other GE refrigerators with temperature problems, I decided to get a whirlpool . The first whirlpool I got DEFECTIVE and was VERY VERY LOUD so, I had to return it. It was also a side by side but the smaller one..So, FINALLY I got this one .. AND IT IS VERY VERY QUIET & Temperature is ok. Freezer could be better designed for more space . Refrigerator bottom draw should be better designed to be the full length of the draw not shortened, don’t make sense .. stupid design!

before I buy something, I read the long-term use product first, especially for someone like me who can't afford expensive things for the kitchen. I love to cook and am always in the kitchen so I chose this frig because I have heard a lot nice thing about it. I bought this for my brother and I picked the same brand and model of what I had right now. I love this product because of the durability and long term use and read good reviews. Nice in the eyes of all who see.

A very good refrigerator at its price point. Whirlpool never disappoints when it comes to their appliances. Very stylish brushed stainless steel finish that will compliment your kitchen. This refrigerator is in between your average functional refrigerator, and right at the tail of the much more high end units. I have a family of 6, and we all fill up our water bottles throughout the day. The ice machine makes ample amounts of ice for everyone filling up plus some stored in the bin. It does take about 24 hours to make the first batch, but once it starts the bin will fill up quick. Internal has good amount of storage both in the freezer and fridge itself. Also, Bestbuy's delivery was very swift and easy. The guys took it all the way to our kitchen and hooked up our water line to it (Additional charge for the installation, trust me it is worth it if you don't know what you are doing).

I like the frig. Good storage. Can see everything that is in there easier than with my Samsung the ice maker only worked for six months and cost twice as much as this frig.

This refrigerator is fantastic. My wife and I are very pleased; it's big enough for both of us. The vertical freezer is great and very spacious. If you're looking for a brand with a long lifespan, you've found it.

Our Samsung was dying and we need a replacement fast. This one had everything we need. It chills and freezes nicely. Quiet operation. The ice maker works well, the dispensed water could be a tad bit cooler. The glass shelves can not be raised and lowered but the good use of space makes up for that. We wish the freezer had 2 pull out drawers. Small things but we were limited due to space so this one was the best solution and we really like it. Best buy got it to us fast and the guys did a great job getting up to the 2nd story main floor. We looked at the others and didn't find what we wanted and we decided after bad expreiences with LG and Samsung they were out of the running. Whirlpool may be the last decent manufacturer of good quality fridges anymore. Glad we have it and are pleased with its performance.

I replaced the same model of fridge and I do love this one, there is plenty of room and it cools well.

This fridge is above my expectations! There is plenty of room in the fridge and freezer. It was definitley bigger than expected. I mean i know a fridge is supposed to keep stuff cold but this fridge freezes and keeps everythig cold in a short matter of time! I love the quality of this fridge. Make sure you measure your home to this fridge because it is bigger than i thought haha
