The refrigerator arrived with a side dent and the interior has yellow foam coming out. The ice maker drips water requiring constant drying.

We Purchased this item and was told we could pick it up that following Wednesday verbally by salesman, then when we came to pick it up salesman pretended that he didn’t say it and told us to look at the documents which we didn’t pay attention to the date for the next following week. After picking up item and keeping it to be placed in our new home we finally was able to get it there and when we opened the refrigerator the inside drawer is cracked we noticed the doors on top was smashed too. My husband didn’t want to make a big deal because he was excited of moving and felt that it would be a hassle because the blame would be passed on us again. Overall the refrigerator works and praying that the ice and water dispensers work too which the refrigerator didn’t come with the extended hook up for that.

So far I am very pleased with it. I hope it doesn’t have any problems in a long time!

It was a "lemon"....After a couple days, condensation started forming and water dripping. I still dont know where a rack goes on the door. They drill some black resistance doors on a regular black refrigerator. The bottom looks like something missing. I have been trying to get a return but no 4 men team. They have come out twice w/o 4 men. Never on the invoice, including today.

The freezer is pretty small. Most of the door storage is too small to store anything. The doors are uneven.

This product was delivered to me twice and all was damaged and they couldn’t check to see what was being delivered, I don’t think it’s a good choice for anyone. There’s so much carelessness from the team handling orders.

Great fridge but noticed a few bumps and scratches as if they gave me a used one...

I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR ON BLACK FRIDAY 2019 AND 3 WEEKS AFTER BEEN DELIVERED I STARTED TO HAVE A LOT OF ISSUES WITH THIS JUNK!! 2 MONTHS LATER STILL DEALING WITH THE BEAUTIFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM WHIRLPOOL BECAUSE BEST BUY TOLD ME THAT I WAS OUT OF LUCK WITH THEM BECAUSE I DIDN'T PURCHASE THEIR EXTENDED WARRANTY. Really bad purchase i m going to return this product after 3 weeks stop working

I purchased this refrigerator in August of 2021. In December 2022, I had to pay almost $300 to have the refrigerator repaired, as it stopped cooling. I found that the self defrost feature had malfunctioned. I have attached a picture, that the repairman sent to me, of the frozen coils that had to be defrosted. I can't believe that I paid this much money for what appears to be a pretty nice fridge, only to have to repair it at 3 months over the expiration of the "Limited One Year" warranty! Per the manufacturer's own website "Your Whirlpool® appliances are built to last, but since life happens, appliances are typically covered with a limited warranty for some peace of mind.", so, apparently, they want you to have at least a little "peace of mind", but they also don't want to be on the hook for all of the repairs that will probably need to be made! I won't buy another Whirlpool appliance, and would highly recommend to anyone against purchasing a Whirlpool refrigerator.

Door wont seal and leaks water on the floor. Cant get service from beat buy

I rely on reviews for large purchases like this. After reading some of the reviews about this fridge and owning it for a month, I wanted to give some honest answers. 1. The freezer side is a bit small because of the ice maker. If you love ice or use a lot of ice you are set. Don't worry about the ice cube size, who cares! The crusher is awesome! 2. Yes the refrigerator makes noises. Here's a hint... they all do. It makes noise when the ice drops, when the water fills up, and when it's running. It's not loud like a plane, or a train, but there are noises because it is an appliance that is constantly running. 3. It does come with a filter. It says it's a 6 month filter but it really depends on how much water and ice you use. The filter is located in the bottom left part of the fridge. Make sure you have something under the fridge to catch the water when you remove it. 4. The ice dispenser does spit a bit of ice but it's such a small amount that it's really not a big deal. The ice comes out fast, so be prepared. 5. There are a few adjustable shelves but not as much as my last fridge. The drawers don't have rollers but if you close them nicely and not force them it won't be an issue. 6. My last Samsung had a tray below where the ice and water were dispensed that had to be removed to be cleaned. If you waited too long stuff would grow on the tray...gross. THIS fridge doesn’t have a gross tray, it’s all one piece...yay! 7. The stainless steel finish truly is fingerprint resistant, I checked. 8. I like how the handles are flattened in the front instead of a cylinder type shape. The LED light inside is very bright. The fridge has no door alarm so you do have to make sure that the door closes completely. 9. Be careful when you open the doors. I've noticed that sometimes the weight of what's in the door will cause the door to fling back a little bit. Well, I hope that my opinions helped with some of your questions. Whirlpool is a good brand that’s been around for a long time. They make really good solid products.

The good: Great layout, lighting, shelving is nice. I love the door shelves and how they can be adjusted. Nice temperatures so far. Great looking fridge. Water hookup was easy. Huge ice capacity compared to what I'm used to. Neutral: Water filter is outside on bottom front- pretty easy access, but near the floor. Gray sides. Ice dropping can be kind of noisy at night. Not so good: In door dispenser drips a little from time to time. Sometimes the water valve has a slight delay turning off. Some slight rattling noises when the compressor is running, nothing major. Once in a while a piece of ice will get stuck in a spot that makes it hard to pull the ice drawer out. Overall, love this refrigerator.

This fridge is OK. Does the job, but it does some weird noises. The water filter is proprietary and expensive to replace. Construction is OK, nothing that seems premium. My door came not aligned, and despite of me trying to adjust based on their recommendation I could not get it aligned and it bothers me. Size is good, on fridge and freezer. I like the side by side model.
