It seems like nothing lasts anymore. Probably because there are too many electronic parts and they just don't last. Whirlpool used to be a trusted name but no longer. Now I have to pay a repairman to come out just to diagnose the problem. It won't heat up, it seems to have a glitch. It's been erratic for the past few weeks until today when it just won't heat up . I never thought I'd need an extended warranty with a gas oven so I didn't buy one. The last stove I had lasted 15 years with no issues.

Great gas range
