Poor quality item. Ignition block replaced.

Normally, I would avoid such reviews, but honesty such a poor product quality just screams for that. You might think that inexpensive product would have poor quality and it’s normal I would disagree - spending $500 on some junk is too expensive. Here is why I’m ranting - this gas range has electric igniter. It went off after one (1) day of use. It took three weeks to replace ignition block on a brand new range. I think it worths to spend more money or buy a different brand.

Burners stopped working.

Extremely dissastisfied.

Horrible experience

When I returned home my house was full of GAS! Took numerous phone calls to extremely rude "customer service" department to get it picked up and more calls for refund.

What a look for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to surprise my wife and when I saw this range on sale I had to act. We wanted a stainless steel range to replace our old, ugly, white one for a while. The price is great and it looks so much more expensive! Unfortunately my local Best Buy didn't have it in stock and the earliest delivery was a month away, so I found it for the same price at Lowe's, and picked it up that day. Installation was easy, I just had to pick up an adapter to reuse my old gas hose ($8) and a leak detection liquid is a good idea, just in case ($5). Anyway, when my wife saw it she loved it, and she taught it was easily a $1000 range (I almost got in trouble there). Everything from how the timer and oven operates to huge oven window, to how quickly burners light up and how powerful the flame is... everything feels very premium. Of course for the price it has its cons... One of the popular complains that I see online is that the oven handle gets hot. It definitely does, not so hot that it'll burn you, but hot enough to feel uncomfortable to grab on, and some people might need to use a towel. Then, so far when we use the oven we get a plastic burning smell, now idk, it may be normal for a new range, and some people said so in other reviews, but it's pretty strong and I just hope it goes away soon. Another thing I don't like is how the broiler door at the bottom opens, I don't use the broiler often, but looks like I'll have to get down on the floor to put stuff in and take it out, it's just a door that flips down, not a drawer stile like many other ranges. One last complaint is the amount of cleaning it requires to look good, all the shiny black parts and stainless steel elements are hard to clean, I found that a microfiber cloth works best.

The company wanted to charge me for installation which is not my fault. I still don’t have the new appliance.

No oriface when servic came second time ! Returned product because service people the third time tried to install orifaces in upsides down! Returned stove! Took 10 days to get my money back!

Missing an oven rack!

I purchase this item in 2020 and was perplexed that I didn’t review two oven racks. I began to assume that is how it was supposed to be. Anyways, it’s kind of difficult cooking multiple things in the oven with one rack but I made it work. I decided to finally purchase another rack and I went to the whirlpool website. I looked up my exact stove abs looked at the specifications when there I saw that the oven was two have TWO racks. I’m so upset with myself for not doing my research sooner but more upset that Best Buy delivered me a product with missing parts. Now that it’s been 4 years, I know there is no way to get the missing rack. But I felt the need to complain!
