Whirlpool freestanding electric range

I noticed immediately when it preheats a noise that sounds like a bird chirping. This sound continued throughout the baking cycle. I also noticed the oven temp may read 350, but if you take an item out of the oven, or to rotate it, the the temperature reads 20-30 degrees lower. When Geek Squad was called, the recommendation was to wait 6 months for the oven to “cure”. Then I was given “culinary lessons” on how to bake.

The combination of black and stainless steel goes with either finish on other appliances well. The oven reaches temperature quickly and the glass cooktop has resisted damage thus far.

(it was a high-end brand!) We really like the "Quick-boil" feature for searing meats and bringing water to a fast boil for pasta, tea, and everything else! The oven is a great size for everything we need! Great range at a great price
