Just had this installed on the weekend, but when i turned on the oven the outside of it on the left side got SOO HOT it would have burned my hand had i left it there. It isn't just very warm but VERY HOT! and it took a very long time to cool down. i am worried about the cabinet next to it. Otherwise, i think i like the glass cook top but will have to be very careful about the outside oven temp.

I purchased this last month & so I will review honestly my findings after use. First of all the color is more Black than Stainless, the front & in my case "hidden" sides due to cabinets on either side, are also Stainless - the top is Black. ONLY One Heating Unit now apparently is the "new" design on the top inside the oven so I do not believe it cooks as well as my previous stove/oven/range that had the standard cooking unit on the bottom along with a Broiler Unit on top inside the oven. I have been concerned with large items cooking thoroughly like the huge lasagna I made on Sunday in a Roasting Pan. I did not dare put it near the top because I was afraid it would burn on top & not cook thoroughly on the bottom and throughout. Therefore, I could not cook other items in the oven because I needed the next to the bottom shelf & had to cook other items in separate shifts. NOT convenient! It's Basic is the best I can say - know that in advance. Another reviewer is correct, apparently now NONE of the new ranges/stoves/ovens depending on what part of the country you are from come with Broiler Pans, so save your old one if you have one! Good luck to all of us with our cooking. I chose this one because it is made in the USA, Ohio reportedly & that is important to me & the reliability is supposed to be very good with a Whirlpool. That's why I didn't purchase a Samsung - either refrigerator in December or this new range in January - they reportedly are all about looks but not warranty or as good of reliability. Hope this was helpful because I know I rely on Real, Honest reviews for my purchases.

Working as advertised and looks great. It was ideal to buy as a part of a package where I replaces all of my kitchen appliances.

My 10 year old Whirlpool range still worked, but I wanted a newer version. So I went with this Whirlpool self cleaning range, and couldn't be happier. Best Buy delivered and set-up the range with no issues.

IT IS SIMPLE TO USE. I HAVE TO READ THE BOOKLET BECAUSE IT HAS A LOT OF NEW TOYS THAT I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE. THE PRICE WAS GOOD. I HAVE THE ELECTRIC SO NO GAS ORDER. I LIKE THE WAY IT LOOKS

It is a shame when the end customer must correct all the manufacturer’s quality control flaws. We bought the bisque colored version to match the other kitchen appliances. While it appears the unit operates correctly with the basic functions as mentioned by other reviewers, ours had the following issues: a. The oven door handle was improperly molded, and contained many blue streaks imbedded in the handle coloring; b. One of the plastic guides for the storage drawer was missing (and the drawer is very flimsy); c. One of the plastic trim strips on the oven door was cracked. Although Whirlpool’s parts line did mail out replacement parts without question, this is a time consuming effort to order and replace the parts. I will certainly think twice about Whirlpool for any other major appliance purchases.

The reason I chose this stove was because I needed one quickly and I didn't want to spend a lot. Well its just OK. I don't cook much in the oven so I didn't need to invest in anything more than this. When you turn on the oven the first time it stinks and fills your house with smoke. I had to bring fans out and open all the windows. The smell is still noticeable after a few uses so I hope this goes away. This oven takes a very long time to preheat to the temperature you set it to. My 20 year old stove was much faster. I haven't used the stove top yet but I am hoping it works well. I am going to recommend this to a friend that needs a low end stove that looks nice but open the windows and get your fans out before turning on the oven! Also check everything out before the delivery guys leave. I found a scratch on the side which I am going to live with I guess. Delivery service was fantastic!

This unit came with our doublewide. At the end of the first year, it started giving error Code "F3E2", Whirpool repaired this under warranty. Now at the end of the 2nd year, the oven does not heat to the correct temperature. My wife suggested this and I did not believe her so I used my digital grill thermometer to track the temperature and it was all over the place! We had to set the Oven to 500 to get it to 400 and it would not maintain that temperature. It would swing from 200 - 410. All of this with a house full of company on Christmas Eve! Reading others complaints, this sounds typical! Run from this unit!

This stove came with my new house. Even when the stove was new it would take 20 minutes to boil 1 qt of water on high on a big burner. The burners keep turning themselves to lower temps -- this is an energy saving "feature." The burners are way under powered and need more wattage. Then the burners died one by one: they would first heat very high (950 degrees) even on low, cremate everything, then quit altogether. I have a digital thermometer so I know the temps. All the burners died this way. The oven was also very cool --I would set it at 350 and the temp would be 300. No "accubake" here! Add 50% more cooking times for turkeys or large cold casseroles. I hate this stove and will never buy another Whirlpool.

Sales staff was very helpful. The range arrived and was installed and the old range hauled away!

made this mistake of not knowing that this needed a specific electric setup. speak to you electrician before ordering,

Rec'd oven on Thursday, and purchased an oven thermometer to test it--running anywhere from 10-50 degrees cooler than what it reads, except when it's spiking too high. Bottom storage door feels very flimsy. In fairness to BB they offered to repair it, but I want an oven that works when it's delivered. It's going back.
