    Purchased this when my old chest freezers thermostat went out and could not find a replacement. This is slightly larger than old 7cuft model which was 21 years old. This model has the built-in temperature alarm which is nice. Paint appears to be more of a matte type finish and easily scuffed until I applied some car polish. Noisier than my old one but may be because more efficient. Best part was this was on clearance so received a great deal. Appears to be working fine.

    Nice chest freezer. Gets cold down to -7 deg F. So far, the seals on the door works good to minimize ice from forming. Seems to run efficiently. The feature to be able to convert to a refrigerator is a nice option. The two baskets are sturdy and made of wire and not plastic. Overall, it seems like a great chest freezer/refrigerator.

    Freezer works fine and perfect size for what we needed. some scratches on the top of the door from the Manufacturer that Best Buy issued a gift card for. would recommend to anyone to buy
