Quiet, quick

Great washer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this washer! It fits alot and has a ton of options. However, it will lock once it starts (which I understand is for little one's safety). For me, though, it's a pain if I just want to add one more article of clothing. I have to cancel it, wait for it to unlock, add the clothing, and then restart. On my old machine, I would just lift the lid and toss it in.

Great Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very large washer, but somewhat loud. This was a great, had a hard time getting it delivered. I was able to work it out where I could pick it up myself. BestBuy told me that they would send me a $50 grift card for the mix up , but I never saw it.

Great washer for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first eco friendly washer and I thinks it's great. It has plenty of cycles and settings to choose from. I especially like the bulk/sheets setting. I am not familiar with eco friendly appliances, and I feel like my clothes don't always get clean :( Maybe I'm using it wrong.

First purchase and I love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first purchase on a washer and dryer. I've never used an energy efficient appliance and it is a big difference. When I first used it I thought it had a default because it made so much noise then I stopped and started right back up. It wasn't until I called my sister and asked if hers did the same thing (she purchased the same brand but smaller a week prior to me purchasing mine) lol. Once she advised me that was normal I was ok. Now that I am use to it, I don't hear it anymore. I LOVE MY PURCHASE!

weird noises
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.are made by these newer washers; groans, clicks, etc. No full water loads, lots of sensing and adjusting for proper water amount. I wanted simple dials, no digital readouts, just a washer. Satisfied though haven't had chance to use all cycles to thoroughly test. Not sure I like how the detergent goes in first and no diluting with water before clothes added. Wanted Amercian made, so happy there.

I did not like this washer at all.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this one because I thought it was a good brand, at a good price, and because it didn't have the old style agitator. This was my first time owning a washer without an agitator. I was disappointed that the directions said not to lay anything over the stump in the middle on the bottom. Instead it says you must layer your clothes around it, as if an invisible agitator was there. That kinda defeats the purpose of me being happy about having no agitator. It was actually more annoying to layer everything around the sides of an invisible agitator! I thought this would allow me to throw in the laundry quickly, but it's quite the opposite as more careful placement is required. I also found that my laundry did not come out as clean, and two brand new t-shirts both ended up with split seams on the shoulders. That has never happened to me before, and definitely shouldn't have happened considering they were new. I suspect this washer had something to do with that. Another thing I hated was the locking feature. You are forced to put your detergent in BEFORE the water starts. I hate pouring it on dry clothes. Because of this, I had to keep it set on 2 rinse cycles instead of one, because I noticed the blue mark from the detergent was visible on my white blanket after I had washed it on only one rinse cycle. And you can't add anything once you start the water either. The locking feature is downright stupid and unnecessary. This washer also makes all kinds of odd noises. Very noisy. Oh, and there is no way to set the "load size" on this one. I guess it "senses" the size all by itself, but I'd prefer to set my own size. I was so glad to exchange it for a regular old washer (with an agitator!). I would not recommend it at all.

Love the top load HE model!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the top load HE as opposed to the front load HE. The water drains more efficiently and it seems to get my laundry cleaner than the front loader. It also has a sensor that is very accurate at measuring the appropriate water level which is awesome!

Good product, large capacity.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We wanted a washer from a well known company with a good reputation that had been in business for several decades. For our use, we wanted a large capacity, but did not need all of the variations of washing/rinsing cycles installed on this machine. Those unused variations (in our case) were a waste of purchase price.

Machine washes clothes well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like my new washing machine. It cleans the clothes well and it is easy to run the machine. I do not like the Downy Fabric Softener ball. I would prefer to add the Downy in a side addition. Also, the early cycle is very noisy. It is a good thing the machine is in the basement where I do not have to listen to it.

Lean mean washing machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little sceptic all about having a white washer. I was afraid fabrics and detergents would alter or tarnish its Chrystal white finish its still as clean as the day it arrived off the truck! It's a little noisy but gets the job done. The price was just right for my budget, being a graduate student and single mom. I recommend these appliances to any first time or veteran buyer.

Great washer - gets my clothes really clean
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still getting used to the noise it makes when it's sensing. I like that I can stop the cycle to add clothes or fabric softener if I forgot to add them prior to the beginning of the cycle. Gets my clothes really clean. Haven't had to use the 2 rinse setting - 1 rinse has been getting all the soap out. Didn't like that the quick wash cycle, wasn't as quick as I thought it would be. Overall, it's a good product for the price. Whirlpool definitely delivered with this product.

Stick with Traditional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm so very happy with the choice we made. We had a front loading fancy washing machine, but it was high maintenance. Turns out we never should have taken the high-tech route. Good ole-fashioned washing machines are built to last and have so much room!

Great Washing Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this machine. It does make different noises than a regular machine, but nothing too bad. I liked being able to just throw everything into the machine and get on with the next chore, but it takes a bit longer to load this machine. Clothes must be laid around the center and be balanced well or the machine makes a load noise. Black clothes seem to catch spots of detergent which is a little annoying, I think a second rinse will probably fix it though.

Works nicely
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never owned a washer without the agitator. This takes getting use to and I'm still not sure I like it.

Hate it!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was greatly disappointed with the washer itself. First you have to pour the detergent in first, which does not allow you to rinse the detergent up because the water does not pour until after the lid is closed. The tub is very deep and I could not reach the bottom to get the clothes. When spinning blankets it get off balance every time. Although it says it is water effecient, it is not time effecient. Loads take longer to wash. Unlike your traditional spiral tub washers the dials are difficult to understand and not self explanatory. I am hoping that I can return it.

Very Nice Machine at a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical with this new machine without an agitator. It says to use He type detergent. Unfortunately I had 2 larger bottles of Tide Hot Water which was not He. Anyway, the machine does make a lot of unusual noises but it does seem to wash the clothes well. We were able to wash a King size bed spread which is a very nice option. It came out nice and clean and fresh. So far we really like this machine. I just worry with all the starts and stops it will not last as long as our previous Whirlpool machine. Time will tell.
