Very expensive and water/ice cubes still tastes different. The unit has to have one though so we are forced to buy one. No noticeable chlorine taste.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For whatever reason the Whirlpool filter I purchased tasted terrible like chemicals and plastics. I was able to square it away with Whirlpool. I do suspect that the filter was stored in a high heat area.
