It works well and a good deal when purchased with the subscription plan.

For some reason, when I bought the same item 6 months ago, the filter didn't seem to work (as in, the taste of the water was not good). This time, however, the water was back to tasting great (e.g. it removed the bad natural tastes from the water.)

This is a very good filter. I have been using for many years and never have a problem with this item.

Appreciated in the online details of compatibility and that appearance had changed. Fits my refrigerator and a better price with my Elite status discount than online. Good Whirlpool quality. Warning, some cheap online models look to be knock-off items with poor reviews.

I wanted to avoid the $10 shipping fee if I order directly from Whirlpool. Found this in Bestbuy and that too at a discount. It works fine, as god as the one directly from Whirlpool. Lasts for 6 months. I wish it lasted more considering the price but I guess all of them have the same life span. I did find a strange water taste for the first few days but that cleared later and it is tastes fine now.

I do not have scientific water testing equipment so this review is observational only. The filter fits my refrigerator. Water flows through the filter. The taste of the filtered water is better than my tap water. Neither my tap water nor the filtered water have sediment. It is unfortunate that the filter is expensive.

Water filter for my Whirlpool Refrigerator fit proper and does the job.

The filters work great, however if the salesman who sold us our fridge that there was a filter that cost almost 50 bucks and had to be used or the whole water part would not function, I would have not bought the fridge.

I've bought the knock offs before & the last time I bought a knock off, it was not good. Had real issues so decided to buy this one. Not only works better, but put it on an auto ship & get a discount. Nothing better.

It must be required!!!!! It is a problem to have to keep purchasing one, BUT if it purifies the water more, Hurrah!

It's a water filter designed for your fridge. So it fits. And it works. And it's actually fairly easy to install so that was appreciated. Wish we didn't need to run the dispenser for so long to get the filter working at 100%, but it is what it is.
