I haven't used the filter yet because I purchased it as a spare, but the one I bought from Best Buy is identical to the filter sold by Whirlpool. I was able to get a much better price at Best Buy.

Why are you sending me another Whirlpool EveryDrop 1 Ice and Water Filter when I already got one from you that is still in the box unused? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Hadn't changed our filter in 2yrs as first time that water fridge owners. Chnaged, cleaned, rinsed etc and its great. Like clean water and family happpppyy!

When it’s time for a new filter, don’t hesitate to install a new one. And, Keep one on hand, because your fridge’s ice maker could freeze up, as ours did, as we waited for the replacement filter to be delivered. Just a couple of days with a clogged filter caused our ice maker to freeze. Fortunately, once we unplugged the fridge for a few hours, and then plugged it back in, it started making ice again. These filters aren’t inexpensive, but the do the job. Best Buy’s price and delivery was very good.

What can I say makes the water from the refrigerator taste solid, and purifies it.

I rest assured that my water and ice are being filtered properly and there is a noticeable improvement in the taste of the water.

I purchase the filter when my Whirlpool Frig gives me the message. I have not had any issue with the type of filter that is required. I would recommend to others.

The filter is simple to install. This has been my fifth filter of this brand and been satisfied with the performance.
