    This was the correct filter need for our refrigerator and it was easy to replace it. Just be sure to flush water through it for a couple of gallons to remove excess carbon particles.

    The filter performs well, like the OEM filter always does. However, the cost is a little prohibitive. Still, I wouldn't buy the cheaper knock-offs out there.

    One of the benefits of most of the newer refrigerators is that they have a built in ice maker and water dispenser. The drawback is that they need a filter. The great thing about Best Buy is that they almost always have the one you need in stock or you can order them online. Even though I only have to replace mine about twice a year I like to keep one on hand and replace it as soon as I install the last one.
