The water and ice tastes like clean water from spring. No chemicals or metallic taste. The only draw back is the price, $49 is a little bit steep. However it will last for 6 months.

It is a filter for the Ice and Water through the door and I would not have it any other way. I am so pleased with this refrigerator and now the Ice and Water is cleaned and refreshed. Thank you Best Buy for the quick and easy way I was able to purchase it. It was shipped to my home very quickly and I installed it and feel very comfortable that I am getting the best in clean water.

I definitely see a difference in the taste of the water after installing this filter. My only complaint is that it’s so expensive, and only lasts 6 months.

But otherwise great and clean water is coming out. I have a Whirlpool Fridge, and the filter was located at the bottom by the freezer.
