    this item was easy to install. however having to change this water filter every 6 months is ridiculous. At 60.00 a pop thats 120.00 a year. way too much money. Considering had a fridge with water and ice for 10 years didnt even know it had a filter

    When the light on our refrigerator came on to change the filter, went to bestbuy.com to find a new one. Had to do a little research to figure out which one fit mine. Found it on the site, checked my local store and there it was. A few dollars cheaper than the factory one. Install was a snap. Had it done in an hour with research, going to Best Buy and back and putting it in.

    Simply put, this product works and is less expensive than Lowes. Why not purchase it for less at BestBuy ??? I can't find a better product elsewhere.
