Really improved the taste and quality of the water

It filters the water, is a little expensive because we use so much water have to replace every 6 months or less

These are pricey but are well worth it. Better than spending money on bottle water all the time. And I love knowing my family has clean water from our fridge.

The filter does a wonderful job,one caveat, it is a little pricey

Installed new filter for under-counter ice maker (kitchen-aid). Within a short time noticed it was making smaller ice cubes than normal. Saw that water flow was minimal so we replaced the water inlet valve ($100). Maybe 2 days later, we had small cubes again. So ordered another filter due to research indicating clogged filter could be the problem. Still had low water flow and small cubes. This is getting expensive, so we decided to take out the filter to see if that made a difference. It did, the water flow was back to normal and soon the ice cubes were back to normal. To make matters worse, had the same problem with our refrigerator (whirlpool) when filling a glass with water. It had very low water flow. Didn’t notice any difference in ice cubes size. So we removed the filter and immediately had full water flow. We don’t know if they changed manufacturers or how this could happen so close together with two different size filters of the same brand. Have used EveryDrop brand for years. We don’t like not using a water filter, currently looking for another top rated brand.

For mom's refrigerator, works well, and water good.

Very easy to order for my new Whirlpool refrigerator. Set up automatic shipments every four months. I was able to take advantage of a couple of offers and my first purchase much lower than the price of the filter.

This seems like the premium brand for Whirlpool. In my case a double sided version. The plus side is there is a sensor that indicates when its time to choose it. I found generic brands on Amazon that dont have it. The down side is the price. But having clean water is worth it for 6 months, sometimes more compared to a britta dispenser in the fridge.

it's a good product! I don't really drink water much but it's great for using water for juices, ice for all drinks.

I’m happy this filter was in stock at the Fox Point Bast Buy store. I still enjoy actually shopping in brick and mortar stores. Information on the purchase of this refrigerator was on the computer which is convenient for the customer.

We use it for water filtering of our whirlpool refrigerator. It does a perfect filter. Good product.

The last new PUR 1 was DOA, this works much better.

Best product for my frig and freezer and make sure that you drain the water till it comes out clear also easy reset filter on front panel it takes 5 minutes.

Stick with Whirlpool...The generic brands are "you know what".
