    Why do I need to filter water from my refrigerator. My county water is delicious. I’m concerned that filtering tap water will remove chlorine that is needed to limit the number of microorganisms.

    Part of my ongoing "revenue relationship" with Whirlpool, this is a necessary expense. The product is good, compact and seems to last the stated 6 months under daily use, but I have no idea if it is really good value, or a profit printing machine for Whirlpool
