We only have one person in our home using the ice or water feature on our refrigerator. Most filters state that they should last at least 6 months- the Whirlpool filter only lasted about four months.

It's the best filter I have used, I can really taste the difference with this filter.

This item is a necessary for better tasting water for the family

Removed the old water filter and after about 4 weeks replaced with a new one. Could not tell any difference during the time the filter was removed. Depending your water you may need one though.

Fits my fridge, but does not remove the taste of the water. The water from my area has a weird taste, this filter does not remove it. Even the I’ve taste weird.

I have very hard water where I live. This helps keep things in check, and the water taste a little better and looks clearer when you fill a glass.

I’ve been using these for years now. They work fine, but I think they are way overpriced. I’m afraid to by after market ones, so I’ll stick with them.

good product---but didn't know a whirlpool water filter was used for a kitchen aid refrigerator. Was difficult finding this filter online and had to call customer service.

Could not find this fridge filter at another retail outlet and online Filter company sent wrong filter so at least Best Buy carried it. - though VERY EXPENSIVE!

They always have them in stock which is great when it’s time to replace never had an issue with the filter

I bought this in January and the light is now coming up in July. If it is only supposed to last 6 months then it lasted the exact amount. When I first purchased the refrigerator the filter seemed to last a lot longer.

I had a plan to send this product every 4 months to my house. I canceled this plan in July since I moved and I no longer own this fridge. However, the product was sent to my old address and the credit card was charged. I called to get my money back, but I was told I need to bring the filter to the store in order to get the refund. Obviously I don't have it since it was send to my old address. I explain my situation, but I was ignored and I lost my money. I am very dissapointed with the customer service and they lost a client.
