    This water filter was the correct replacement part for my whirlpool side by side refrigerator with the filter at the top right side. Just pulled up on the filter door, pulled out old filter, put new filter in and shut the door. Done. Easy Peasy!

    Very easy to install no issues. Just popped out the old filter and this easily fit in place. Just have to run a few gallons to flush properly before you start.

    This is a certified Whirlpool water filter for my refrigerator, it filters the water for the ice maker. I have purchased it from other sources but Best Buy has the best price. I am happy with the customer service and shipping departments also!

    As far as we can tell it does its job. It's a filter for an ice maker and drinking water. When they are old the quality of the water and ice drops. When new the they taste great!

    I only bought this product because it comes with my new fridge at my new house but I was pleasantly surprised how great it is. I saved myself a lot of money every month with this filter as opposed to buying new water bottles every month.
