    My only qualm would be you have to flush 4 gallons of water through this thing before its good to go... that's a lot of water to push through a filter.

    I think they are good, the water is clear, however, I just put one in the end of June and there is no need for another to be sent for a couple of months from now.

    The water filter fits and works as expected in my Whirlpool fridge. The stream is strong and water is clear. I gave it only 4 stars however, because it seems to be a little louder than the previous version when in use.

    I get the purpose of the filter, but cycling the amount of water you have to cycle through the fridge once installed is a little unnecessary. I wish there was an easier way to have the water process the initial couple gallons versus standing there filling a four cup measuring cup up to dump the water a number of times.
