The water tastes crisp and clean super clear. But for the amount of use and spending 100 bucks a year it just isn't worth it. I mean our tap water is already filtered so this is only taking out that slight clorine taste.

Wonderful much healthier than plastic bottled water. Convenient by having the water access from your Whirlpool refrigerator. Never run out of water. I have the filter shipped automatically every 4/ 6 months on plan.

Best Buy is where we purchased our Whirlpool Refrigerator and nice to be able to just go there when we need a new filter.

A little annoying how it mentions you have to run a few gallons of water through the filter upfront before it's safe to use, but assuming that's standard and just making sure there's no residual plastic/waste in the pipes. Has worked as expected, and have brought this from best buy multiple times in the last few years.

This filter plugs right into the fridge... just open the freezer door, pull open the little door at the bottom of the fridge, pull out the old filter, and put in the new one. Weee doggie! Clean water. But, why are they so dang expensive?!?! $50 each?!?! That seems crazy expensive for a simple filter.

The water and ice tastes like clean water from spring. No chemicals or metallic taste. The only draw back is the price, $49 is a little bit steep. However it will last for 6 months.
