    Do NOT purchase through Everydrop

    Do NOT under any circumstances try to work with Everydrop and their filter replacements - much less their subscription program. The WORST - cannot find a way to contact them even. Trying now through Best Buy..already tried Whirlpool. They are double in price to many other vendors online!! Cannot say enough bad about their ability to work with customers on even the basic level.

    Company does not stand behind their product

    This is a product review - not a review of a seller. I have been using these filters for a while without any problems. I had a gift card, so I bought 3 of them over a year ago. Well it came time to replace. I installed it correctly, just like I have done in the past. The area that holds the filters had a small leak. I took the filter out and replaced it a couple times, but it still leaked. Replaced with a new filter. No leaks. So, the problem is the filter that I was using (must have been a dud). Even after using that filter for a week and trying to get it to not leak, the filter was not heavy like the other ones I have had (from having water in it). When I shook it there is something in there bouncing top to bottom. Maybe the filter just did not expand with water - who knows. I contacted everydrop and they said they just have a 90-day return policy when you buy directly from them. But they would be happy to sell me another. They suggested I go to the vendor (store) where I bought the filter. Except the store has a 30-day return policy. But they are so happy to allow them to assist me in purchasing another filter. They also told me I should not blame their product that is defective, but the stores return policy where I got it from. Again, the store was fine. Whirlpool allows the vendors to sell their product. What does Whirlpool think - that stores will take the time to make their products defective? Whirlpool makes a ton of money. It is their product is defective. They should stand behind their product, but choose not to, but are so happy to sell you more. Whirlpool Everydrop is a shameful and irresponsible company.

    I paid $54.00 for this filter after taxes. I really don’t know why whirlpool filters ran so much more than the LG ones I needed in my other fridge. Filter lasts my family around 4 months. Does it’s job I guess, but really haven’t tested before/after.

    Just ordered water filter yesterday. Told delivery Friday so I ordered. Today I’m told delivery 16th. I wouldn’t have ordered if told that upfront

    Faulty filter

    We have bought this filter several times and the last time, it quit making water and ice. We had to take filter back out to get ice and water to work, which defeats purpose of needing a filter. Wish I could return because it’s faulty.

    Water seems to be coming out at a very slow rate. Maybe the filter is clogged, maybe it’s my fridge. Not sure there is much of a choice of filters for my fridge though so will probably buy again and hope I just got a defective one.

    Bad experience getting this from Best Buy

    Previously I had purchased this filter from Amazon, this time I decided to get it from my local Best Buy to be delivered in a couple days time. Somehow, the local store didn’t have it in stock by the time it was supposed to ship the same day….so they shipped one to me from more than 50 miles away. However, there was a delay in shipping from that location also…so I still waited extra long for my refrigerator water filter. When it finally arrived I installled it and proceeded to filter gallons of water through the filter per installation instructions…the same method as always. This is where the actual product review comes in: Suspiciously the filter DID NOT WORK. It immediately became clogged and would not dispense water. I took it to the store where they tried to tell me they couldn’t exchange this sort of item…but they did….however 2 months later…the “new” filter is performing like an old filter…not at all…nothing comes out…filter is trash…or had previously been used…

    Water taste like water can't tell the difference. I replaced the water filter and before you know it I have to replace it again. I don't think the filter lasted lie it supposed to before I know it i have to replace it again.

    I have tried so many times to cancel this whirlpool filter and it's impossible! My account doesn't show the subscription anymore because it was cancelled but it still gets generated every 3 months! Customer service has been pleasant but no one can seem to help me and no one can find the original subscription to cancel it. I will have to block the merchant from my credit card because I have no way of cancelling these orders that are being generated.
