I've been using the Whirlpool water filter in my Whirlpool Side by Side Whirlpool Frig/Freezer since I purchased it. I've been very satisfied with the performance of the filter, fresh, clear water and ice. I'm very satisfied with the Water Filter itself. I do wish that when this Frig/Freezer was designed the filter unit had been placed higher up, in the freezer unit itself. The filter unit is currently at floor level. I'm 75 years old and I have to wait for a visit from my son install a new filter. I, myself find it very difficult to kneel on the floor and try to get the filter installed properly.

Love this water filter. Fit the KitchenAid fridge perfectly. After doing the tecommended flush, makes great tasting water and ice. Bought an extra one too so we have the replacement in 6 months. Highly recommend!

I would assume it is hard to tell if a water filter is working the way it should. I can only tell you the price was fair, it was simple to install, it is not leaking, the water and ice are clean, and everything seems to be functioning properly. I am happy with it. Not much else to say. Besides, it’s a necessity, and a specific product part. It’s not like I can go out and compare it to other items.

Other than the ridiculous price of water filters, this worked great. It was the same filter that came with my fridge. It was very easy to swap out and love the free delivery. Saved a trip to the store and had it installed in minutes. Quality appears to be really good.

Great filter. Makes my water taste refreshing. Product is lightweight and easy to replace. Also removes so much of the unwanted stuff in the tap water. Was a little pricey but better than any other options available. We have tried them all. The Brita, and pure jugs and even store bought ice.
