    It filters water. Best Buy is better at delivering this regularly than every drop is and I know it won’t be a subpar knock-off.

    Bought several of these for replacements in my Whirlpool Side by Side refrigerator. Easy to use. Pull open the little door. Pull out the old filter. Push in the new one. Close the door. The old one has water in it, so a little leakage is possible. Keep it horizontal and keep a paper towel nearby. I have been replacing every 8 months. Frequency depends on how much water your family uses. Many refrigerators have a warning indicator. Need to run a few quarts through it to clear the lines. After that, the water is clear and fresh.

    I have used these filters for more than 5 years. The filtered water taste to me natural and pure. Chlorine taste is removed from the tap water. Lasts about 6 months it seems.
