Most water filters I've use last about 6 months. Works fine, water seems fine, tastes like water. Make sure you flush the ice and water lines after install. Takes 2-3 gallons and 3 loads of ice in my fridge. Water clears up and tastes fine after flushing. Just screw in and your set.

I use the subscription option which ships automatically on my time schedule with a discount for the subscription.
