    This does a good job of cleaning up the taste of the water. However the useful life of these filters is less than the stated 6 months. My experience has been 4 or 5 months.

    The refrigerator water system won't work without it, so I'm forced to buy it at $50 a pop. It works like it's supposed to, but I don't like that I'm stuck with no other options.
