    Use in a Kitchen-aid refrigerator and wouldn’t use anything but the name brand filter. It costs a little more but it lasts six months and it’s worth it to make sure that it’s the right fit.

    I hate how water filters are so expensive. This works as a good replacement for the FILTER2 model. NOTE: If you hear loud sounds like a stuttering/spitting noise, reduce the flow of water from your fridge connection as this filter provides very little resistance and doesn't require the water connection to be fully open.

    Obviously, this is the only filter that will work for my refrigerator. Overall, it’s fine. It took a little while for all the air to get out. Even after flushing it for the recommended amount of time. Still occasionally makes noise as if it is not sealed properly although it is.

    The genuine whirlpool are every drop filter is nsf 42 and 53 rated. Always make sure that your filter has a hologram sticker to ensure your getting a genuine filter.

    It is expensive to replace water filters but so necessary. Water comes out much slower as they age plus is no longer filter. Recommend PUR.
