Great water filter and love buying it from Best Buy and getting points for my purchase!!

This filter goes to the refrigerator that I recently purchased at Best Buy. In researching the filter for price I found it to be cheaper at Best Buy than buying it online.

This product works excellent for my refrigerator and keeps it running great

This filter is super easy to install and works well. The only negative is that it doesn’t seem to last very long comparative to the price. The water in our house has to have a filter due to heavy lime content. This filter does the trick.

Changed our filter and or water started running so much faster! Had we known it was the filter we would have changed it so much sooner!

It keeps the water tasting great. When you join the automatic refill program, once the filter states order, it arrives before it says “replace”

Good price through Best Buy's Replenish program. And it's authentic. Don't buy online from non major retailer...most of them are knock offs.

This filter is recommended by KitchenAid the manufacturer of my refrigerator. We are very happy with it. We have been using it since we bought the refrigerator in January of 2013.

Expensive but it’s necessary to use the ice machine and water dispenser.

Getting this delivered is much easier and comes at a cheaper price. I have a hole house filtration system but this makes it even better.

This is an after market replacement for the original Whirlpool charcoal filter for my refrigerator's water and ice maker. I live in an area with high total dissolved solids which greatly effects taste and clarity of water with an average TDS of 380 parts per million (PPM). After installation of this filter and appropriate break-in, TDS is down to 350ppm; or put more pointedly, this filter only removes around 30ppm of total dissolved solids. Considering the excessive price of this filter and the poor filtration performance I can NOT recommend it for anything other than removing the annoying notification LED on the front of the refrigerator. If like me, you live in an area with poor quality water, this filter will do NOTHING to improve the quality or clarity of the water. I would recommend a multi-stage filtration system with reverse osmosis for drinking water in place of this. These system can be had for $150-$250 dollars and have filter costs around $30 a year. My 5 stage under sink filtration system produces drinking water with an average total dissolved solids measurement of between 16ppm to 20ppm. Unfortunately this filter is junk.

This was easy to change out but, the filter does not seem to last as long as the old GE short filters. I need to change mine out every 4 months to get pressure back. We have hard water but, the GE went at least 10 months. Maybe it is better, who knows? Consumer reports?

it is a water filter for my kitchenaid fridge, what else to say

I did not replace my water filter as soon as the 6 months ran out (as recommended) and the water started getting cloudy and tasting funny. Changed it and much better
