The right filter for my refrigerator. Made me give up on bottled water

After using for 1 week, black debris came through water dispenser. No problem with the previous product purchased. Forced to change to this one b/c only one available for my refrig.

I have no choices, but it’s rediculously expensive.

Ice maker has stopped working since installing a week ago. I’m trying to avoid paying for a service call. Ice maker worked perfectly before.

First off I have to admit that I have never reviewed a product on line. I also will admit that I don't like to read long drown out reviews. But I feel that I need to share my experience and I hope this is not to long for you to read. I'm off to buy my 6th Whirlpool Everydrop 2 water filter. I have owned my new Kitchen Aid frig for 1 year and 3 months. The first 3 filters lasted 3 months each, the 4th lasted 2 months and this last one lasted roughly 33 days. I'm still trying to used it but water just trickles out of the dispenser. Called customers support and they where no help at all. They told me to take filter out and put it back in and reset the filter light. That didn't work and no need to reset light because they have never made it that far. I took filter out, ran the water again and it worked perfect, so it has to be the filter. I also might would have agreed with the argument that its the quality of water or I used more than 200 gallons, however that reasoning does not work either. The last 2 only lasted 1 and 2 months respectively. I'm also on a city water system and the quality of water is pretty good. I just personally believe these filters are faulty, the internet is littered with the same complaint that I am having, they don't last anywhere near 6 months. I am a general contractor and have built and lived in 7 houses over the years. I have never had this type of issue with the other appliance manufacturers. I guess its time to consider a different brand than Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool.

These things are ridiculously difficult to replace.

Great product. Great service, BUT only available at one store. Two said their computers said they had one but they couldn't find it.

My family love the taste of how our water is now. It was a lil difficult putting it in but it may have been just me

It works great but it takes forever to work properly, you have to cycle through the new filter many times before it will filter properly.

It was the right part that I needed. I have it on the auto-ship program so that I don't have to worry about finding another water filter when the time comes.

I gave it one star only because it will not allow you to give it 0 stars. NEVER agree to a subscription with Best Buy because le they make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel it.

I do not like to see the precipitates in the glass cup when melted an ice. This filter does not work well to remove calicium.

This filter is $50 and lasts about 6 months before it goes bad. To compare, my Samsung fridge went about 2 years on a single filter.

These filters are great but they don’t last very long and pretty pricey.

I want this item only once a year, Don’t send me earlier Thanks
