    These are the best filters and there is no skimping on the real thing. I'm all about saving money but when it comes to clean water you have to pay full retail to be sure your getting the real thing.

    My gripe is NOT with the filter, but with having to get down on the floor to replace it in this fridge - oh well, live and learn. It seems to do a good job of removing particulates but I don't have an easy way to test for chemicals. With the carbon filter though, it should do a good job on them too.
