The good thing is shipped fast, but it didn’t work, returned but haven’t gotten refund yet (8/22, 13 business days pass). What should i do ?

Seems like these filters have a 1 in 2 chance of working. I have seen other people saying the same thing. Sometimes you get one that works, sometimes you get on that no water will flow thru.

Hello, Just purchased this filter on subscription through Best Buy. Left a very weird chemical taste in our water. I thought it may be temporary since it was a new filter. I called Best Buy back about 1 or 2 days after their policy. They stated I could not return it. Disappointed but respecting their policy I finally got a chance to call whirlpool and asked if they could offer good customer service and replace the filter. They could not, they stated that if you order from Best Buy they will not honor any warranty, replacement, etc. unless it is directly through Whirlpool. Just thought people should know this before purchasing it through Best Buy. I advise don't do business through Whirpool because their lack of customer service in honoring their quality of product. Best Buy should have understood that it is a filter and I was not trying to abuse the system I had a legitimate concern and could have tried to do something about it but didn't. I did not call 6 months later stating I wanted a refund or replacement.

I purchased filter for MAY-TAG refrigerator from best buy store . It is good quality product and quite useful.

Be sure to take a good look at the one you're currently replacing or you'll have a hard time figuring out how to install this.

Those new produced filter doesn't work on my old Refrigerator anymore, even it has the same model number. Purchase with caution!

This filter does not fit our appliances. Now we must try and return it......I hate returning anything.

part fits right and works without issue in terms of sealing and no leaks. i have not tested contamination reduction with / without the filter.

It's supposed to be for the refrigerator we have but it only works if you push in on it and hold it.

I use this product for our Whirlpool Gold refrigerator. I use two per year. I like the automatic reorder option Best Buy offers. I set up delivery two weeks before needed. I no longer have to buy more than necessary and store a back up.
