I love this product the only downside is you have to change it often

this is a good product, usually my go-to filter mostly for price however

I get this all the time for my refrigerator. They should last almost 6 mos. I'm lucky if I can get it to last 3 mos. It's like a hit or miss with these. They are almost $50 so I'm not happy when it doesn't last.

A little hard to instal it. But the rest, I think it does the job..

This is a difficult item to review since you can’t see what, if anything, it actually does. Unless you’re going to test your ice and chilled water, you don’t have much to go on. It’s completely sealed and goes into a completely sealed port in a refrigerator. It’d be nice to know (and for Best Buy to tell us) if we really need these filters because they’re outrageously priced whether at the store or by mail from the manufacturer. Another of those cash cow cottage businesses, like razor blades, you can charge 10X what they cost to make.

I like to buy items in the stores not to order online.

Love this product. Bought one last year and it lasted 10 months even with allot of use everyday

The good thing is shipped fast, but it didn’t work, returned but haven’t gotten refund yet (8/22, 13 business days pass). What should i do ?

Good filter but highly priced. Other generic ones are just as good but cost much less.

Seems like these filters have a 1 in 2 chance of working. I have seen other people saying the same thing. Sometimes you get one that works, sometimes you get on that no water will flow thru.

This waster filter has lasted a real long time and give us great clean water.

Hello, Just purchased this filter on subscription through Best Buy. Left a very weird chemical taste in our water. I thought it may be temporary since it was a new filter. I called Best Buy back about 1 or 2 days after their policy. They stated I could not return it. Disappointed but respecting their policy I finally got a chance to call whirlpool and asked if they could offer good customer service and replace the filter. They could not, they stated that if you order from Best Buy they will not honor any warranty, replacement, etc. unless it is directly through Whirlpool. Just thought people should know this before purchasing it through Best Buy. I advise don't do business through Whirpool because their lack of customer service in honoring their quality of product. Best Buy should have understood that it is a filter and I was not trying to abuse the system I had a legitimate concern and could have tried to do something about it but didn't. I did not call 6 months later stating I wanted a refund or replacement.
