Install Immediately to Ensure it Works

Did not install for several weeks and then discovered that it would not install correctly. I contacted Best Buy - was told it was outside the return time frame and to contact manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that because it was purchased at Best Buy there was no warranty. Thanks to both companies I am out the cost of a filter. Purchased from another vendor and it worked fine. And will not make the same mistake of buying a Whirlpool product in the future once this refrigerator reaches its end of life. My advice - install upon purchase to ensure it works and locks into place. You should not expect any help from Best Buy or Whirlpool if it doesn't.

Poor Water filter

Discovered little to no difference in taste. Not worth the money as the filter provides no taste improvement. The ease of Installation is the best thing about this item.

WORHTLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE/WEBSITE

Call to cust service rep tries to convince me email is phishing. WHAT A BUNCH OF WORTHLESS BS!!!!! FIX YOUR GD SITE!!!!!

Save your money

Best Buy was great and exchanged the first one for me even though it was outside of their 2 week return policy. I've contacted Whirlpool about this problem but they won't do anything unless you buy directly from them. My advice, go without the filter.... I would've given a negative rating, but 1 star is the lowest you can go
