Very expendive but the water taste good. The off brand ones are a lot cheaper but do not last and then the water taste like you licked the backside of so.ething sweaty and hairy. Yes, I went there. Its true. I use the name brand for 2-3 times longer than it says too and the water still is great. The off brand, not so much. That is all.

My Whirlpool fridge has been going through filters every six months for eight years now. I finally program the filter number in my phone and they change it. Appliance salesman had this new one memorized and have now been through two of these new ones. Older Pur filter was solid blue but same otherwise. Filter makes water taste exceptional and we have never had a problem. Initial rinsing of 2 gallons is easy and your ready to go.

Works great, easy install for our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. I am utilizing Best Buy’s easy replenish program for this item so a replacement filter ships every six months. Of note, my last water filter lasted well over a year, so I don’t plan on replacing every six months.

This filter works great though i think it is more expensive than most.

This filter works great for Kenmore refrigerators that used the old PUR Whirlpool type filters, which are hard to find and I think it’s possibke Whirlpool replaces with this model. But still a great find. Tried a few off brands from Amazon and they fit but the quality of the water was subpar. This filter is just as good as the old PUR filter for Whirlpool.

This filter is so easy to install and lasts for 6 months each time. I I also like the yellow light feature that warns me that the filter will soon need to be replaced. Whirlpool thought of everything and my husband and I are so pleased since we purchased it, after first purchasing a Frigidaire and having to replace it 3 times before buying the Whirlpool.
