    We have had this refrigerator for a few years and the water filters do a great job. We are in an area with moderately hard water and this filter takes out the taste and makes both ice and water much better.

    Just like the title says. This fridge filter works better than my $4,000 water softener/filter system. Not sure if I should be extra pleased with the filter or very angry with my water system, but hey the filter is great!

    Decent filter for fridge.. It's worth purchasing a name brand filter rather than some of the generic ones. Our house drinks a lot of filtered water so it doesn't make it the full estimated life.. But water tastes much better Than direct from faucet. I'd compare it to a cheaper bottled drinking water as far as taste.

    Good water filter. Always the go to filter for my whirpool fridge. One thing to note is that you'll need to "flush" the filter (aka, get the filtration agent activated and throw out the initial 1 -2 glasses of water) because some of the agent might get into your drinking water (mine came out with a blue tint).

    Great product was easy to install, glas I read the manual on how to install and and steps necessary to ensure no air is left in the system and make sure the water and ice are suitable for consumption
