    When you first replace this filter, let your ice maker make several tubs of ice or drain lots of water before you use the ice/ water. The ice tastes like chemicals when the filter is brand new installed

    I haven’t had problems with these. I prefer to buy them at Best Buy as opposed to Home Depot to avoid the odds of the filter coming in contact with fertilizer or some other chemicals.
