    I was talked into spending the extra for the brand name by a repair person. He was right. The water flow through this is significantly better! Spend the extra, you won't regret it.

    The item seems to work fine, but the instruction need to be clearer (not sure if this the responsible of the refrigerator manufacture or the manufacturer of filter). Lucky, I was able to call the number provided and it worked. The customer service representative was helpful and provided the necessary instructions on how to remove the notice on the refrigerator that the filter needs to be changed.
