    The filter works great. The installation can be a bit tricky. I had to watch a video online to figure it out but once I understood the process, it was easy.

    I purchased the filter over a year ago and signed up for auto refills at a discounted price. I had to call several times when it was time to replace. This week after not receiving my filter i called AGAIN. I was told , after being transferred to 4 different departments, the price of the filter had increased so i would have to order at the new price. I thought that was the reason for signing up for auto refill to get the discounted price.

    There is no need to soak this filter in water prior to fitting to your refrigerator. However, there is a need to discard about 4 gallons of water. Waste of water in my opinion.
