Wow, I can't believe how clean my dishes are. I love it so far! A terrific budget replacement for the old one. I replaced an old Bosch. I chose this one because it was half the price of the new Bosch. It looks great, is very quiet, and does a great job. The plastic clips on the upper rack come loose sometimes and that concerns me, but after a month of use it is doing a stellar job and I am very pleased.

Had to return both dishwashers, first one only worked on the 1 hour wash setting, and not very good. Second dishwasher you had to run whatever cycle you picked at least twice to get them clean, not very efficient. Not happy at all.

I have used the dishwasher three time. Every time I have to kill power then turn it back on. Trying to deal with store. I get the run around. I looked on line. It's the door switch. Sounds like there's issues with that. Please help.

This dishwasher was awful. Shortly after the first year of use we had to replace the motor. It only cleaned dishes when it was on the most powerful setting.

This dishwasher has been good for two years, now I'm getting error codes indicating electrical issue. Apparently I need a new control board.

We have owned this unit for about 9 months and are pleased with it's performance. It is a bit noisy and the stainless gets smudged easily but only worth mentioning not a deal breaker for us.

    Quality vs Price

A bit skeptical at first, reading the reviews, I can at least say I took 50% of them for face value. For personal reasons I chose to go with this model and glad I did. My last dishwasher was $1000 kitchen Aid that out lived its life. At first, this model seemed a bit cheap, but don't let that fool you. I rate this washer as excellent in all aspects, except for the silverware rack, being put on the right bottom side. other than that, excellent drying, excellent washing and doesn't take forever. Good Choice, and when I move, will consider a re-purchase. Q

    Excellent diswasher for the price

This is a great product for the price it is offered at. We got it on sale after our last dishwasher decided to die in the middle of a cycle. It's probably not the quietest unit that you could get, but we personally don't notice any noise while it's cycling. It's really convenient to be able to do the quick hour long cycle when you are in a rush or you can use the full wash cycle. The only thing we noticed was that the first time we used the diswasher, the dishes came out still soaked. We realized that we had not set a dry cycle and we haven't had any issues with this since. Overall a excellent product for the price point.

    Worked Great For 2yrs

I loved this dishwasher right up until it recently broke exactly 2yrs after I purchasing it. It was quiet, cleaned dishes well, and had great features. Then all of a sudden, it started showing a Temperature Sensor Error and of course the unit was no longer under manufacturer warrant. Next time, I will DEFINITELY be buying the extended 3-5 coverage through the Best Buy Geek Squad.

    Quiet but doesn't fully dry

We've owned this dishwasher since May of 2015 and after using a dishwasher for 20 years, it was time for a new one. The energy efficiency has changed and so has, unfortunately, the drying element inside. Remember the old dishwashers that the element inside could melt plastic? The Whirlpool heats but not that hot so consequently the door, utensil basket especially, remain wet. Plan on drying each piece of silverware off after cleaning. Also, you cannot access the drying feature independently to re-dry. We've gotten used to not totally pre-washing before putting dishes into unit but we don't leave food caked on either. We've tested with dried on salad dressings and dried oatmeal. All cleaned well with a good detergent like Cascade (small candy looking packets.) Manufacturer suggests using a drying "rinse aid" to help drying but we'd rather not invest in that or use another chemical to achieve something the dishwasher should do already. We love the dishwasher is quiet--big change from our one hundred twenty nine dollar dishwasher of 20 years ago! So there you have it. Nice for the price but not a a great drying experience. (You could leave door open to let air dry. In that case just have patience!)

Dishwasher: it cleans very well. it looks nice. It's not as quiet as I hoped it would be. Doesn't dry very well at all. Service: I ordered it on Oct. 23. They told me it would be delivered and installed two weeks later. After several calls to reschedule, it was finally delivered on Nov. 21 and installed Nov. 24.

Got this machine after some research and rolled the dice on something from this price range. We bought a house about a year and a half ago and the dishwasher that came with it was original to the house and falling apart. I've been washing by hand since we moved in but decided to finally bite the bullet and pony up for a new machine. So far, so good! It's been a couple months, and I use this machine maybe twice a week with a full load of mixed soiled dishes and have no complaints. It preforms about as good as most of the mid range/budget machines i've had experience with in the past. At first i was bummed about the machine having trouble rinsing out all of the detergent when i used the pod, until i realized it was because I was loading the pods into the compartment when it was wet (a big no-no) and since making sure it was dry it's been performing like a champ! It's the quietest appliance we own now, I often forget it's running. As will most of my other dishwashers, I found it more efficient to simply let the dishes air dry by keeping the door open and the trays out. We installed it ourselves with little difficulty. The hardest part was getting it to level. Yes, you WILL need to purchase a dishwasher install kit! This is standard!! It does come with its own drain hose. It was delivered on time by BB and my old hunk of junk was hauled away no problem. My only concern now is longevity and serviceability. Being more of a budget dishwasher, there's a lot of (plastic) parts that i worry about their durability over time, but for now, everything works as it should. Happy with this purchase!

    Nice Upgrade.

Upgraded a ~13 yr old dishwasher that was very loud and didn't really clean that well. I'll admit, this isn't as quiet as I thought it would be but the noise it generates is more of a water swooshing sound. Not a vibrating, clunking, metal sound the old one did. Has plenty of room and I like the way you can put the silverware basket in multiple locations. Not sure how easy the top rack adjustment is. Seems a little tricky but maybe I haven't studied up on it enough. The only issue I had is with Best Buy delivery. Not the actual people that delivered it but rather the people at the 800# messing up my delivery date. I won't take a star off from the product though. Their "customer service" deserves one star on this order.

Motor out after 9 months but good warranty

This was our first dishwasher we ever purchased. We are first time homeowners. I have used other dishwashers and i liked this one better than those other few. But after a few months it didnt seem to clean the dishes as well as the first month. It seemed to keep going down hill. Never did i think that at almost 9 months it would stop working completely. After a few times of trying to figure out if i did something wrong i called Whirlpool. It was easy to setup the appointment for the repair guy to come out. He came out 2 days later and figured out it was the motor. I was shocked that something major went out within a year. Glad it was under a year so it was under warranty though. I definitely will be purchasing the extended warranty for this dishwasher and all my other whirlpool appliances. The dishwasher is running great.. like new again. Im kinda indifferent to whether or not i would buy whirlpool appliances in the future. I guess i will see how the others hold up.

    Excellent Dishwasher

I have nothing but good things to say about this. It looks great in the kitchen. Very sleek looking. Blends in well in the space. It does a great job of washing dishes. Haven't had anything come out that wasn't clean. It is also extremely quiet. You can stand right next to it and carry on a conversation without any issue. I love the option to do a quick wash - takes about an hour. The standard wash takes about three hours, but it uses less water. Overall, this is a great washer and I am very happy with the choice.
